Ben, you should meal prepping a go! I know the convenience of ordering out might be override everything, but if you're waiting 20-30 minutes every day you could use that time to prep for the week and then heat it up. Just a thought. I can't wait to see what you get from your MBA, how you're going to implement your knowledge into your business, and how you're going to get the ROI from it all. That interests and fascinates me a lot because I'd love to know the trade off of putting a lot of time and money into education vs your business. It's fucking great to see how elated you are with your apartment and that business is going well. A lot of the insight into your life has revolved around some difficult personal hardships, or situations where you've been quite introspective, but I don't think I've ever seen you look this genuinely happy. I know every video has a "professional" aspect to it, but there was something about the delivery of this part that betrayed the professionalism and allowed your honest emotions come out. It was genuine, thoughtful, and it was awesome to hear the joy in your voice. That part really struck me a lot.

Where did you get the money for all this if you weren’t working? I’ve always wondered how MBA students have the money to do things when they aren’t working.

Assuming we are only accounting for Tuition costs after a typical scholarship is applied, is it reasonable to assume most people have about 160k worth of debt coming out of a top MBA?

Any chance you do direct consulting? I'm a little bit older (42), and currently studying for the GMAT. Not sure the MBA is worth it for me? Also have a background in entrepreneurship, starting an innovative e-commerce golf business, but started my career in medicine/biomedical research and thinking about going into finance/marketing for a big pharma or biotech or just continuing my entrepreneurial endeavors...would be interested in someone's perspective, especially with an IB background, as I'm sure you'd be able to objectively assess my situation...cheers!

Hey Ben. I’m 25 and a CFA level 2 Candidate and currently working in Venture Capital. I’m thinking about applying for a Wharton MBA after the CFA level 3. I’m from Brazil and I would like to work in IB and then PE in te US. What do you think about this? Can I break in theses industry after the CFA and a MBA?
@marcolee1632 Жыл бұрын
You're not going to get a reply from him. He's too busy posting content for revenue, advertising his products, studying for his MBA, and social events. You should seek professional advice from people who have CFA working in USA. There will be online forums for your questions.

MBA is definitely a pipeline into IB if you can find an employer that will sponsor you. And while the CFA is an incredible accomplishment, it won't really help you unless you're going into ER/HF/AM/WM. It's a challenging path so best of luck.

DW about it. If you're CFA qualified then MBA doesn't matter.

Damn 240-280k in costs for 2 years. Not even talking about opportunity costs. That means you’ll leave the MBA with around 500k fund loss. Probably on the long run it is still worth it for most students but this is a big burden you take upon yourself
@silentwisdom05 Жыл бұрын
Great video! Loved hearing the details of the costs. Since you said you paid more for these social events do you believe the value was worth it? Is it just having people know you and your “brand” that is valuable? Also, how did these classmate trips work? Can you elaborate on them in future content? Thanks!
