Congratulations!! I am happy for every artist who gets the chance to show what they have painted 🙂 Good job. I love your painting style. Do you have a background in botanical - or medical painting?

Thank you. Most of my work is botanical based. I do paint other things including illustration, animals and the odd portrait. I did consider showing some of my other paintings but I wanted it to feel more like a collection.

I do like the paintings a lot and the frames are all good too, they look amazing,however I feel you would have benefitted from the advice of a master framer who would have been experienced in choosing the right matte to complement your work and make them look even better. I do not think this would have affected sales though, anyone buying would be free to remount them anyway. Your work is lovely in its own right. It’s a big deal exhibiting for the first time, glad you enjoyed the experience. Maybe you will have got some feedback about which of them got the best response, and you could make commercial print run of them, a home printer is not the same there are some very good deals around and some printers will allow you to split the print run. Even half size they would look lovely.

I did ask how it went and the owner of the cafe said everyone enjoyed them. She didn't say if there was a "popular" one. I think also positioning might have been a thing too. Some were near the seating area, some were by the counter and some were kind of randomly placed but they were space out well.

Very well done looks great .. Iv sold a lot of my Artwork over the years in art gallery s and in cafes shops ...in Ireland. Live in England now but find ing it really hard here to sell ...not sure y ...

Thank you! I think it's mostly due to the inflation/cost of living here. It's a little worse than most countries. That and we have a lot of mass produced art.

Bravo! Once you start selling, you'll see a trend in what's popular. Having smaller prints in an array of price ranges might garner more sales with this economy??? Congrats on an exciting new type of adventure. 😊

Very true! I have recently listed some A5 prints so hopefully they will do well too.
