Pretty crazy how your wife narrates fast, hyper, giddy, and how you narrate slow, sleepy, and quiet. Somewhere in the middle might be just right. I'm not big into camping. An over-nighter once in a while, but I'd sleep in my truck bed or back seat. You did good though brother. Solo is nice because you can go at your own pace. But, it's also nice to have a partner with you, just in case. Can't wait to see your next one, Jordan. Thank you.

Yep ... It's better when someone goes with you, camping solo is not that much fun. The riding part is fun. I just picked up a 06 Sportster 1200 low with 17k on it for 3k, needs some cleaning and a few new parts but runs great. I wanted a carbureted 1200, easy to work on. What's funny is it still has the original front tire. Your bike looks good, love the look, Like that front fender mount.

Ha! That has happened to me too. I get out and set up then critters decide to invade my camp site even though I took the time to clean up. People you can't do anything about either. I have pulled the plug more than once. Either you like being alone or you hate it. I would rather have some company but it just doesn't work out most times so you go alone. I sometimes feel like a cowboy riding the range looking for new things to see. Life is short, get out and make the most of it. Peace.

Out there in the old AEP coal country. I’ve been on a lot of those roads, been to the Big Muskie bucket. When I was a young kid in the late 70’s early 80’s, my great grand parents had a sheep farm in Blue Rock, use to be able to sit on the front porch and watch the Big Muskie in operation from a distance away.

Welp small world I guess. Stumbled across this video researching motocamping sportster sissy bar setups. Actually got the idea of motocamping from your wife's channel that I've been watching a while now. Which I discovered researching heated hear. So my wife is literally still in the learning stages of motorcycles but I ran the idea by her of camping and she loved it. So here we are. Came across your channel now without even seeking you out cause of your wife's channel. Love your tent though and the even simpler approach to gear and totally plan on copying it. Is this tent the 1-2 person or 2-4? Already planned on copying the mattress from the wifeys channel 😁. Sweet sportster by the way. I'll be watching both of your channels now for the ins and outs as I'm pretty new to the sport as well. Thanks!
@JordanRay2 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching. Moto camping is fun, you can make it as simple or extravagant as you want. Camping with others is a lot more fun than solo 😂 The tent I use is pretty old but work ms since I only camp a few times a year maybe. It’s called the Night cat, they’re on amazon. It’s listed as a 2 person. It usually fits me and my gear, that’s it. When Jess and I go together we will bring a 4 person Coleman and my tent, and put our gear in mine and the beds in the bigger Coleman. Good luck out there!
@genoapb2 жыл бұрын
@Jordan Ray thanks for the info man! I'll probably just go for the 4 person version since it's only like 3 inches longer as far as hauling on the sissy bar but offers way more room. Hopefully this way we can just use one tent 😁

Loving your content! I have a sportster I’ve been using in a similar fashion in its mostly stock configuration. Looking to make some modifications what made the biggest difference for usability? And what tank bag is that?
@JordanRay Жыл бұрын
Thank you. Honestly, just seat time. The longer I ride the more I realize some of these extra things like handle bars, seat, and nav aren’t required. But they help in little ways. The tank bag is a nelson rigg.
