Hey Guys just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the support. Especially to all the people up at Port Mac. Sub 9 is still the long term goal and I think if I stick with this approach for a few more years and keep enjoying the process it’s definitely possible! Uploads have been far less frequent lately but I’m currently working on a bunch of video ideas and I’m really motivated to make some good content over the next couple months. I’m also doing Ironman WA at the end of the year and hoping I can go fast. Not sure if I’ll be able to go sub 9 by then but either way I’m going to give it my best and most importantly enjoy it! Thanks to the help of sponsors like BetterHelp I’m going to be able to invest way more into the process and travel to faster courses. Thanks for their support and exclusive discount; BetterHelp.com/lachlan

Well done Lachy on breaking the race down and burning your matches where they count the most, in the last 10km of the run. You have captured the essense of success for any athlete. When all is said and done, if you are not having fun, what's the point? Enjoy your success and build off this experience.

Well done. I’ve done 4 sub 10 IM’s, PB of 9:20 and at 55 went 9:50 at IM Arizona last year. I weigh 70 kilo’s and eat 120g of carbohydrates per hour in the bike. You need to double your carb intake.

Would I be right in saying that to do a full Ironman, you need be be at the level of ""Athlete"" fitness wise?? I've a full coming up next year, and that's the level of fitness I'm telling myself I have to be at- an "Athlete".

Mate we've been off KZbin for awhile and were so bloody stoked to watch this as our first video back. Not only because of you so proudly rocking the Floral. But two other great points - The Better Help sponsor, what a great movement/brand, without your good self, wouldn't have known such a quality service existed. Secondly, your race approach. Really resonated with what most athletes should be aiming for, including myself. Really refreshing to see the foot taken off the throttle to a degree, and see the results that come with it. Great stuff as always mate. Lets get you on that Podcast that we've been threatening for 2 years now haha

He is able to make some extra income and support a company that betters people's mental health and their lives. I think that's a win win
@aominaito4 ай бұрын
@@zacharymiley8497 This is what BetterHelp advertises that they do but if you do a little bit of research you can see that the company has multiple lawsuits for selling customer data, funneling customers through fake websites like CareDash and using shady tactics to try to keep people from canceling their subscriptions even though they are unhappy with the service. I do not think you should support a service which abuses people's need for therapy to squeeze money from them in every way possible.
