Just out of curiousity why teach her sign language when she's not deaf? Is it just for the knowledge? To be more inclusive? It's interesting!

You can communicate much earlier with ASL/ sign than you could verbally with your child 😊 she did her first signed sentence this week (11 months) and typically kids don’t speak sentences verbally until 2+ (?) aside from communicating and having the ability for her to have her needs directly met, it’s a second language & any additional language early on is great for a child’s development 💓💕

She has full hearing :) We sign because it's a second language & gives her the ability to communicate way before she could verbally.
