Bro all the latest cycles have gears on two sides of the handlebar..one side(which is of 3 gears) is called friction..and the other side (which is of 7 gears) is the real gear we all talk about..you shouldn't change the friction..keep it in 2 that'll be alright..and change only the gears..so 3×7=21 gears

For 1st friction you should only use first 3 gears 2 nd friction for all the gears 3 friction for 5,6, and 7 gear And if you want more of speed you can use it with 3 friction and 7 gear
