I bought a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. I got it at a Chrysler Dealership. I got it for $21K, with about 57218 miles. The car was in perfect condition and I brought it to Tesla for an evaluation. The report came back clean. I’m living the car. I can recommend buying a used Tesla. The Recurrent site can run a quick diagnostic on the car before you buy it. I recommend that before you buy one. It gives you a battery health check and how the battery was used during its time. Thanks for the video.

There’s a special video on KZbin, where a Tesla owner shows you how to check the battery health and full car diagnostics on the car’s screen. I’d do this myself, rather than pay a technician to do it. If it tests faulty, you haven’t lost any money

Ideally, this credit should reduce the purchase price for buyers, but in practice, it often increases dealer profits, leaving consumers with minimal savings. Initially, some buyers did see substantial savings; however, dealers quickly adjusted by raising vehicle prices, effectively absorbing the credit’s value. Consequently, the credit often barely offsets dealer fees and add-ons, as seen in your case. While $21,000 is a reasonable price for a Model 3, with a fully effective tax credit, the cost could have been closer to $17,000 or $18,000. There have even been instances where buyers acquired a Model Y for similar amounts. This situation aligns with Elon Musk’s perspective that such tax credits should be eliminated, a stance that, despite initial reservations, seems increasingly valid. Although these credits are legislated to continue until 2030, the incoming administration may expedite reforms. It’s disappointing that the credit hasn’t delivered more substantial benefits to consumers.

I have a similar story. I went from a 2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid. Loved the Kia but the hybrid system kept failing on me so I traded for a 2022 Model Y Performance used at 22k miles. Still in warranty and I love it. Almost always on the juice pedal. Carries everything I need and more. And I charge at home. I didn’t trust earlier versions of FSD. But the latest with the free trial got me thinking of the $99 a month because I use it all the time now. Great video!

Buying a new car is the biggest waste on money in the world. In 2022 I picked up a 2018 P100D with FSD 21" Arachnid wheels with 34,500 miles for $46,000 out the door. If I would have bought the same car new in 2018 it would have cost $155,000 😱😱😱

To me the problem with buying a Tesla, new or used is the lack of dealerships, stores. The closest one to my area is 120 miles away.

just got my used tesla model 3, 45k mi , for 21k! No issues with is at all, besides missing tire nips, and some small rim scrapes but nothing major.

I traded my 2022 Tesla model 3 RWD that I bought new for a used 2021 Tesla YLR AWD, 7 seater, Red exterior, white interior with 38k miles. Full charge at 100% is 305miles. The car is under warranty and I paid $28k out the door since I was plus $5k on the trade in. This was the best deal.

Hey if you have DWP they have tons of rebates. Up to 4k for a used EV no price limit I could find. 2500 for a charger install.

Buying used from non-Tesla dealer see if the dealer has the model you like with transferable options. I purchased mine from Hendrick Motors preowned dealership and I got FSD with the purchase. The Dealership transferred all the previous owners' options to me because the previous owner transferred to the dealership.

It comes with an 8 year warranty! Used doesn't take away that warranty. They also can repair cells not change the entire battery pack.
