Hi just sharing an info about properties available to foreigners in the Philippines. A foreigner cannot own land unless your spouse is Filipino or a Filipina. However you can own a condo. By law there’s a 40% maximum capacity for foreigners in every condo to own a unit. And if you just want to invest in property Megaworld properties offer a 6 year amortization where after paying for 2 years you can sell the property at a premium and you won’t even have to pay for the taxes because the new owner will now assume all those costs. Worth looking into if you’re the investor type.

Thanks for sharing as that’s super helpful to know 😊 it’s definitely something I want to know more about when I next come back to the Philippines. I’d like to see what the new condos look like 😊

It’s a beautiful spot! I can see why people like coming here. Yes, they were delicious and very well made. Conor did like the hazelnut pastry, but it was very rich and too hard to finish 😅😂

Weird to see the place looks deserted. I'm guessing this was recorded last week? Metro Manilans leave the city for out-of-town during the Holy Week break. Actually the perfect time to explore when the usual bustle of the city simmers down just a tad notch. Lovely episode, as always. 🌺

Wow! You’re French? You will thrive here in the islands. Tell Connor to pack his bags and move to the Philippines pronto! Your retro chic style will be a hit here, open a shop selling French pastries and retro fashion. A coffee shop where like-minded and like-hearted individuals can have coffee while having fun putting together, mixing and matching an ensemble from the racks around the coffee shop. It’s a fun DIY concept coffee shop that’s not been done before anywhere. While you’re at it, get me as marketing consultant! 😂💕

Yes, I am. I’m french but raised UK as my dad was welsh so I went to school in England. So, that’s why I have an English accent when I speak English. However, I do have a north eastern french accent when I speak french. Oh, I love that idea! Let’s see maybe one day 😊

School and Mall are tight security guard are like that in Philippines, checking your bag, they even have automatic shotty or rifle which I haven't seen one here in U.S probably because I don't think security guard have real guns here I'm not 100% sure but so far, I have not seen one only cop. How do you feel about the seeing guns especially those shotgun or rifles.
