Boring is good. Family is gold. Be happy you actually have a grandpa who wants to spend time wit you and who is alive. You will realize when you are older and wiser that these are the best times in life. Always needing action and excitement isn't always good. Sometimes you need to sit still and be 'bored'. Cherish it. It won't last forever.

Ewa, it was supposed to be exactly like it is now. You were meant to be in Poland, showcasing Poland in your vlogs, showing its beauty, wonderful places, and the time spent with your family. Remember, nothing happens without a reason. Everything happens for a purpose, and the number of subscribers you currently have, almost two million, helps in showcasing and spreading awareness of Poland among foreigners even more, make the most of this time. You are spending it with your grandparents, among your loved ones, and these memories will stay with you forever. That is the most precious thing. Po prostu ciesz się chwilą.

once heard a neuroscientist state that if a cold persist for an extended period of time, we need to check in with our emotions. our bodies respond, react and display expressions of that which were feeling and may be suppressing. you felt out of sorts being back home in a less complex and varied rural landscape and often we hinder and delay the meeting of our own needs when processing emotions and difficult transitions, like hesitating to go camp or outside when you know you need it. now… you did the far walk with Vilk and had that experience. i encourage you to reflect on the timeframe from this video to now. so much is always evolving and changing, embrace it and nourish yourself by feeling your feelings fully!

As a "grandma" myself, I can't explain to you how much joy you must give to your grandfather by spending time with him. Also...as a grandma who loves the outdoors and camping, I totally understand that "feeling" you get being in the outdoors away from things. I just went on a dream Alaska cruise and loved it but mostly I just wanted my little tiny camper and being there in that spectacular scenery and the scent of pine in the clean air with my husband, dog, and cat. Nothing soothes some of our souls like the outdoors.

Seems we share the exact same experience as someone from Poland. After seeing Glacier National Park, the Tetons, the Washington and Oregon Coast and spending numerous years in the US I returned to Poland and seemed bored and unimpressed by the landscape, almost disappointed. It took me some trips out into the Polish woods, spending a couple of nights river or lakeside, taking long hikes, to see that although it's not as grandiose as the mountains out West, it forces us to look much more closer at the natural beauty around us. It was here at home I looked closer into the wilderness, started observing it at a microscopic level, finding great joy from observing the different leaves, the changing color of the earth, the various types of birds, running elk, a moose passing 5 meters next to me, the howling of wolves at night under a starlit sky. It was here at home, searching for what could replace the grandiose mountains and glaciers I saw, that I found the true beauty of nature and understood that it's not worse, it's just different but beautiful and divine just the same. It's one of the most valuable lessons I received. Enjoy the great outdoors of Poland Eva!

Well, Eva, you inspire me. In a way I am doing like you are doing. As a getting close to 80 widower, I live in a somewhat remote area, not a long ways from where you once spent the night in Idaho. But now, I am waiting for my mechanic to receive the used $500 transmission that will go into my soon to purchase, 2009 Subaru Forester. He has been working on the engine so that I don't get surprised. I have found You-tube sites that show how to make sleeping quarters similar to yours. I tried sleeping in my 1999 Subaru Outback earlier this spring with snow on the ground, but it was cold and not comfortable, but I kept watching your videos and knew I needed to do something different. As soon as my vehicle and sleeping quarters are finished, I will camp in my neck of the woods, staying in only 3 counties, but where I will go, it is unlikely I will see anyone. I've tent-car camped all over the western U.S. so I am not new to camping. No cell service where I will go, so I need to be careful. Yesterday I took a CPR/first aid 4-hour course which will help me remember what I learned ten years ago taking a 6-week EMT/search and rescue course. I now have a 12-volt battery from my older Suby and I just bought a battery box for it. I have an inverter that I tried out once before camping, so I will have a light like at home. I hope to go for 4 days to a week at a time and then come home to a less than modern home, where I can even see one house across a canyon from my kitchen window. I looked on Amazon for a coffee maker I see you carrying out to your vehicle, but I was unable to find one. I have a camp percolator but your method looks much better. Thanks for your videos. I think I've seen them all. You probably inspire a lot of wannabe outbackers but probably not a lot of near 80 ones and someone who, though not into computer technology, will actually put some of your ideas to the test.------an old fogie named Pat

Two thoughts: curtains would be a nice addition, but you might also consider fabric covered foam or cardboard inserts for your back windows (Velcro attached, easily removed and stored flat while traveling ). It would block the light and provide privacy. Re the refrigerator: An ice chest would work fine for two day trips. A 12 V fridge is good for longer. Either can be moved to the front seats to maintain sleeping space. Cheers! Enjoy a carefree summer!

In the autumn, when a tree needs to reset, its leaves flare to a brilliant beauty before falling to the ground, as the tree pulls all its sap back into the roots to recharge over the winter. In the spring, when the tree is ready, it sends forth the sap in renewal, bringing forth new life, new growth, new strength. You will recharge, renew, and reimerge with new life, new growth, and new strength. I look forward with great expectations to those videos, as I enjoy these videos of your renewal.

As we have "allemansrätten" it's ok to just camp there, and wake up looking out over one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you want food there's a lovely vegitarian resturant in Delsbo, or you can give us a shout and me and my wife will make you something nice. Welcome to Hälsingland!

I just smiled when you told us what you were going to do. Vilk seemed happy to get into the wilderness again!

Love how when you put down your rest spots, Vilk immediately bypasses his bed and chills on the blanket instead 😂😂

It's real life that's why I love this. It's about family and home and where you came from and just relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. Exotic trips are nice but I love seeing this peek into your hometown, what it looks like, feeling the nostalgia of being with grandparents again vicariously through you. I loved where you camped. It's beautiful. I loved that cross next to you. It reminds me that we are never truly alone when we have Jesus. God bless you Eva. Praying for you.

I car camp too and it's one of the best feelings. Feels so grounding and honestly, its just less faffy and uncomfortable than tent camping.

Spending time with family especially grandparents can be as therapeutic as the calm of the wilds! I’d give anything for some more time with my grandparents. ANYTHING! I totally get the way getting into the woods the wilds the remote places just makes you go “ahhhhhh” I’ve been that way my entire life, cafes in convention Alive in the wilds. Sadly I developed medical issues and all those dreams turned to dust. Now getting close to 50 and I still crave the wild places the remote outdoors the mountains the streams and lochs and woods. In those places I can breathe and just feel like me, not drained, not defined by pain or medical labels or the label of disabled. Videos like yours help me see what I dreamed of but is now out of reach, and I thank you for your wonderful videos and adventures and ability to explore with Vilk. My sprocker meg is with me always, when my other half is working she helps me deal with pain and keeps me sane and gets me into the woods. The mind wants to keep going the body isn’t capable. So long as you’re able to spend time with family and those you Cherish as well as go on adventures and explore, every moment is precious treasure it because one day your body might not be able to follow your dreams and it’s a real shock when that happens. Make the most of “being able to do” “to be” “to breathe” “to fine open spaces with views that just make you feel like you” 😊 happy exploring and happy fishing with grandpa!😊

Nice to pay back your grandpa fishing, camping in your own Poland is exotic for us. The closest I got to Poland was sitting at a table in Jakarta hearing from an architectural model maker in Canada who left his condo in Poland to rent out. The price was really good. Sometimes going back to our own old towns is the best. One of the Roosevelts said after exploring Borneo norther Sulawesi, East West Home is Best. Glad that you got to rest the three weeks and recover. Have you ever heard the song by John Denver about Toledo Ohio, going to the bakery to watch the buns rise?" I thought about that so much when I got to return to my childhood town, Glendive. Was surprised to enjoy simple things like the peoples museum.

Hey Eva I just discovered your channel & I’m really enjoying your adventures & life development. I found it interesting when you left Italy & figured out that you really enjoy traveling & understanding that for the present it’s really a solo project. You’ll never know when the right person will just drift into your life & seamlessly be with you & may even start a family if you both wish to do so. I’m envious of your lifestyle. Keep it going. Also Velki is an awesome companion & you 2 make great videos together. Keep up the great work & do it at your own speed. It’s your life & live it the way you want to. But that’s wasted advice since you already know that. Cheers & I’ll be watching your adventures from Brooklyn NYC 😊
