That chair is beautiful before and after! I love old furniture like that ❤ I've been meaning to refinish this awesome huge old dining room rable and chair set I have. This has inspired me to finally tackle it!

It looks beautiful. Just wondering if you waxed or oiled the wood on the chair? Stripping the wood will make it very dry and prine to splitting. When I reupholster furniture I always try to keep the old material and use that as a template for the new one. Reduces the risk of mistakes 😊

Ive also been considering re upholstery. I have some pretty nice dining room chairs but after several years the vinyl is starting to crack and id like to give them new life
