I recommend trying to unlock everything first. Attunements, Echo Talents, and Origins (not as important) can make such a huge difference in your gameplay, and can prepare you for your next build. And you might as well explore to have more knowledge on where things are, such as Monkey's Paw.

A more effective pve training strategy is Trial Of one, you fight mid to late game monsters at lv1, if you beat it you skip around 7 levels of your progression, beat the Thresher in trial to unlock Lone Warrior (trial of one) as an origin
