This movie was straight fire and after first watch im having a hard time ranking it, but im thinking its top 5! Where would you put it? Could it possibly be the best mcu movie not called avengers!?

Its likely that the 838 universe (where scientist Christine is from) is in 2021, cause if you zoom in on her computer when she's showing Strange's hand injuries, the date on the right for 838 Strange (the dead Mightiest Hero one), it says January 3, 2012 (01/03/2012), the day 838 Strange got the injury from the car accident, while the 1 on the left shows a February 12, 2021 (02/12/2021) date for our Strange's (616 Strange) injuries, but we know that 616 Strange had his car accident injury back in 2016, so that most likely means that February 12, 2021 is the day 616 Strange and America arrived in universe 838, but the movie itself (main 616 universe) takes place around September 2024. 2021 has to be the current year for universe 838, cause in universe 616, Strange and half the universe was still dusted by Thanos, since he did the snap in 2018 and the Hulk didn't reverse it until 2023, so most likely, when our Strange got dusted in 2018, it was probably 2015 in universe 838, therefore when the snap was reversed in 2023, it was probably 2020 in universe 838. Also, possibly, Sinister Strange's universe is probably also slightly in the future compared to universe 616, cause it seemed like Sinister Strange already went through the events of Christine's wedding and, most likely, 616 Strange would probably end up like Sinister Strange if he let his grief consume him.

41:18 Elizabeth Olsen is spectacular. Her emotional range when it comes to acting is a monster. She slays every role she takes on and eats up every scene. One of the best actresses in this generation for sure. 42:59 lol that was actually America's two moms. In the universe where she's from, men do not exist. So she has two moms which affects her directly because in the comics, she's also lesbian I believe.

@@BobbyChill2 The films she's in aren't that good. She's fantastic in them but the plots are usually not that well-written. But I think Wind River's worth a shot. She stars alongside Jeremy Renner, the guy who plays Hawkeye. However, she's got an amazing series called Sorry for your Loss, an underrated facebook show about grief, which is more than worth giving a shot. It's not really a series I would make a reaction of though and you'll clearly see why but she's phenomenal in that. Other than that, she has a new series coming out soon called "Love & Death" where she's playing a crazy axe murderer, Candy. I know she's going to kill that role.

What up my dude? Haven’t been on your stuff in a minute! So Clea is Dormammu’s niece and in the comics eventually becomes Strange’s wife. Strange also had the third eye at times in the comics and it relates to his power when using the Eye of Agamotto. Remember Sinister Strange told him that using The DarkHold exacts a heavy toll so it may have brought it out. Hearing that X-men theme in the theaters was amazing. Wish the Illuminati lasted longer but I hear we’ll be getting them in our universe at some point.

The comic Illuminati were: Professor X, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Dr. Strange, Iron Man and Namor. They took the responsibility onto themselves to keep the earth save. They were the people that decided to send the Hulk away from earth and that way he landed on Sakaar in the comics.

I think Wanda didn't realize that in this movie she is also a nexus being. In every universe there is only one Scarlet Witch just as America, there is only one America in every universe. I love that scene where she escaped the mirror dimension. Maybe Strange is brilliant with spells but Wanda is also smart too by understanding her surroundings (the runes in WandaVision and teleportation of Agatha) and I think that's the reason why she escaped from mirror dimension because just as the mirror reflects so as the water. Ancient One said you can never escape the mirror dimension without the sling ring but wanda just slide through that broken glass of mirror.

That's because when Wanda threw her Chaos Magic bolt against the glass and it reflected everywhere, it probably changed the physical properties from glass to water, allowing her to connect it to the puddles in the building. Wanda's battle IQ has really improved, she thinks quickly and her magic is very adaptive, too. Also, there's actually only 1 Scarlet Witch in the multiverse, but there's endless Wanda Maximoffs. Only 1 Wanda is meant to be the Scarlet Witch, cause a Nexus being is a multiversal 1 of a kind person. So, even though they're the same person, technically, Wanda isn't a Nexus being, but Scarlet Witch is.

The glass became water AFTER her Chaos Magic bolt hit it and bounced around, so she changed it from solid glass to water & it connected to the puddles in Kamar-Taj, acting as a gateway from the Mirror Dimension back into Kamar-Taj. The glass still cut her, because it was still trying to hold her in the dimension, it wasn't gonna just freely let her escape without injury, but she didn't even feel any of the pain, cause her Chaos Magic was immediately recovering her body.

All of the Wanda's have the potential to be a Scarlet Witch, but they're not MEANT to be that, because Chthon only needed 1 human vessel. He only needed 1 Scarlet Witch to be his vessel, which is why Mount Wundagore & the temple are most likely only in universe 616, being that the temple is the original birthplace of the Darkhold & when Wanda destroyed it, it erased all multiversal Darkholds. So, with that feat, that likely suggests that 616 Wanda is the ONLY Wanda meant to be the Scarlet Witch, which reinforces the notion that she IS a Nexus being.

It's a shame that online speculation led people to form unrealistic expectations of what this movie would be, so it's judged much more harshly than it should be. I've been a huge Raimi fan for almost 40 years, and for me this is the most Raimi movie I've seen since Evil Dead 2, and for me it could easily be a big budget version of Evil Dead 4. It's easily a top 5 MCU movie, and for those who complain about not seeing enough multiverse, remember we're only 5 movies into the Multiverse Saga. The Infinity Saga took over 20 movies to complete. The crazy multiverse stuff and all the cameos are coming, just be patient.

GIVE ME MORE LOL. its almost like ppl forget, the reason they fell in love with the mcu is because they've taken their time in developing all these characters and plot lines. @@BobbyChill2man, if you've never seen Evil Dead 2 you meed to rectify that right now, it's in my all time top 3 favourite movies and it blows the first one out of the water (although it does depend on what you want from from a movie. It adds more comedy and cuts back slightly on the gore, but it also adds more psychological horror and wtf trippy moments which are what elevates it for me, plus the bigger budget helps). I'm just glad someone else realises this movie wasn't supposed be the big finale though and can judge it for what it's meant to be, and is as excited about what things are building up to as I am.

Im pretty open minded going into movies unless they sell me on one aspect and give me the complete opposite lol. @@BobbyChill2oh yeah, I totally agree that this movie was non-stop and we got a lot of bang for our buck, it's just unfortunately a lot of rumours started early about this movie saying we were getting cameos by Wolverine, Deadpool, the entire Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, Tom Cruise as Superior Iron Man and a lot of other crazy stuff, so the final movie could never live up to the hype for the people who bought into the rumour mill. Personally, I've learned to ignore the rumours so I absolutely loved the movie for what it was with no preconceptions. As for my top 3 movies of all time, tbh I'd struggle to make them since I like so many genres and it also depends on my mood. Top 3 MCU movies would probably be Infinity War, Endgame and eithr Guardians Of The Galaxy or Multiverse Of Madness. I know Winter Soldier is regarded as the best MCU movie, but personally I prefer the crazy s***t lol. If I'm choosing all-time, I'd go Wizard Of Oz, Evil Dead 2, then Natural Born Killers (I also need to give a shout out to Aliens since that movie holds a special place in my heart).

But im like you, ive learned to avoid both rumors and as many trailer as possible. Cant argue with that top 3 at all EPIC! I tend to lean more twoards dialoue heavy shows and movies which is one of the reasons WS tops the list for me. But as you saw i enjoy my crazy ish too lol. Also, Wanda destroyed all Darkholds, cause the temple and the mountain, Mount Wundagore, is the original birthplace of the Darkhold, where Chthon, the Darkhold creator, wrote all the original spells before placing them in the book as a more mobile vessel than the temple. Plus, there can be endless Wanda Maximoffs, but only 1 is meant to be the Scarlet Witch, because the Scarlet Witch is a Nexus being, a 1 of a kind being who's life and power is tied to their universe and helps keep their universe stability intact. So, Chthon placed a piece of his Chaos Magic in 616 Wanda when she was born, which is why she's the only Wanda to become the Scarlet Witch and because she's the Nexus being Wanda, the mountain and temple most likely only exist in her universe, universe 616. So, her collapsing the place probably DOES erase all multiversal Darkholds from existence. It also should be noted that because Vision was never made, that because there probably is no Tony Stark or Stark Industries and that Thanos was prematurely killed in universe 838, that 838 Wanda likely never lost her parents, her country, her brother and never lost Vision, cause she never met him. So, that all cancels out the events of Age of Ultron, Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame and WandaVision in universe 838, meaning 838 Wanda never went through the grief or pain to grow her magic, which probably means that her magic is basically like 616 Wanda's Age of Ultron rookie level of power. But since 616 Wanda is more experienced, she was able to push 838 Wanda's power to its limit to beat the Illuminati, probably pushed it even further than what 838 Wanda knew she could go, otherwise she'd have lost to 838 Captain Marvel when they were spinning around in the air.

I think Tony Stark is still there and her parents still died but her brother is alive. If Tony didn't exist then Wanda never got experimented by Hydra. She would just be a normal witch (if she later discovers her power) or just a normal human who never knew that she is a witch. Wanda's power only turned red after being exposed to the mindstone.

the purple girl at the end is Clea. she's Dormammu’s niece and in the comics, she's Strange's love interest like MJ is to Peter. she and Strange get married later. also Black bolt is the king of the inhumans (they are like the mutants but a bit different) and he can basically blow up a entire planet with his scream if he wants to. so yes, he can indeed destroy Wanda with just a whisper unless his mouth doesn't disappear.

So from my understanding, there are dimensions (dark dimension, Moor, Ta-Lo) but the ancient one called these multiverses by saying “gathering energies from the multiverse.” In Loki, every event can cause a new timeline, but the new timeline always has the same reality of rules. The TVA also calls these multiverses “there was a multiversal war.” In MoM and What if, there are multiverses, they can have different rules such as (paint universe, X gene’s existence.) the dreams are multiversal, so Kang’s death wouldn’t effect dreams. Also, in the timeline each time The timeline branches, it makes a new America, but America can only travel across the multiverses. Kang can travel the timeline.

Exactly, Wanda learned from the Darkhold how to create monsters and send them on a mission to attack people anywhere in the multiverse, so America wouldn't be safe anywhere. That's why people need to understand that even if Sara permanently cut off Wanda's access to dream walk when she stabbed the Darkhold, Wanda could still find America eventually, by sending endless amounts of monsters after her.

Ok, theory i like about the ending and mid-credit scenes, is that evil Strange didn't die, and that was him dream-walking in the body of main Strange. Which would also explain the incursion and willingness to cooperate with Clea. Who is, in comics, Dormammu's niece (or some other relative, unclear on that one).

It's not just a theory. The mid-credit scene was originally longer and confirmed that Sinister Strange had dreamwalked into 616 Strange's body and replaced him, casting him out and trapping him out in a different dimension or universe. If the MCU is building up to Secret Wars as the next Infinity War/Endgame level event, it makes sense for 616 Strange to be lost in a different reality so that he ends up where he needs to be for his part in that storyline.

Wanda destroyed the darkhold in every universe so even if sinister strange was still alive he cant dream walk (it doesnt matter if he knows the spell or not)! And in the scene where he gets the eye its because even tho there is no more darkhold, strange still used it so the eye is a side effect. And the incursion probably happend because our strange also dream walked in to defender stranges dead body!

other universe probably have mount wundagore, but not the darkhold castle. 616 is where the darkhold castle is located. 616 is the prime universe of marvel. In other universe, the darkhold is a book. After wanda destroy the castle, all the darkhold in every universes gone and so does in the universe where Strange dreamwalk. It means that the BOOK is the ORIGINAL darkhold in their universe, while in 616 (Prime universe) the original darkhold is the castle, and the book was a copy

I liked this movie. But not as much as you did. I would put the original doctor strange ahead of it. Any movie I rank 7 or more is worth rewatching. This gets a 7.5 or 8 from me. My least favorite Marvel movie was either Iron Man 2 or The Hulk and those are 7. The movie I like more then most people? Thor the first one. It's my 3rd favorite Marvel movie after infinity war and end game. Regardless of order I clearly love the MCU and would rewatch them anytime especially with someone who hasn't seen them.

The Illuminati always existed in the comics, consisted of the most conceited, self-centered assholes in the existence: Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Namor, Strange, Xavier and Black Bolt who ended up causing more problem than they could solve. The MCU version of this group is already ten fold more likable by replacing Namor and Tony.

I don't like horror movies. I saw Friday the 13th back in 1980 and immediately left for 2 weeks at camp. The only Sam Raimi movies I've seen are the Spider-man movies. I love all the MCU, but this is EASILY one of my favorite Marvel movies hahaha.
