Plesioth is the one with world ending hip checks. Afterall in stories 2 they're hip checks are called Hyperspace Tackle and produce shockwaves. Capcom couldn't capture how we felt about those checks better if they tried lol.

each of the weapons has a stone version that's easy to get with a few mining spots. It's your welcome gift to G.

Also relatively easy to upgrade so long as you simply keep up with material grinding the various maps. Definitely use a Prowler to do any of this farming; I was already into G-Rank before I realized I could use my Prowlers for Harvest Tour farming with infinite stamina, pickaxes, bug nets, and no need for items.

@@Uno_Hunter Plus if you get one or transfer the skills, you can do those egg quests in no time. Put Monsterdar on them and you know where your monster is all the time, then they have the transporter that speeds them up when carrying and the no fall damage skills, plus a sonic horn that will scare away any small enemies. They're very useful.

Just craft some basic armour from whatever other early Monster has decent starting Skills that you're comfortable hunting for the defense until you get to G2/3 where you can craft Ceanataur armour (the base G-Rank one, not the alternate ones). If you have a good Charm with Tenderizer on it and some slots, you can easily get Weakness Exploit on it as well. It'll carry you until the final boss where you can use its armour as a starting point for higher end builds.

The reason why you wanna go with this is that it has a ton of good Skills, namely Razor Sharp and Critical Eye. Critical boosting Skills are king in MHGU, especially G-Rank, whereas Attack falls short.

Have you done the questline for the "R series" Hyper armor sets yet? Those aren't really recommended for early G Rank but I'm just curious since by endgame those are what your mixed sets will be using primarily. And keep in mind that while the questline itself is High Rank you won't be able to unlock G Rank Hyper armor sets without doing it, so definitely do it if you haven't already.

Honestly, to call Dear Gamer your rival does yourself a disservice. To compare the quality of your content to his: your journey reminds me of my own in your humility and timidity. His cocky “too smooth for school” attitude is unrelatable and downright annoying. I can tell that you make your videos exclusively because you want to, whereas he gives the impression that plenty of his videos are made to acquire the KZbin numbers. But most of all, at the end of the day, your videos are more interesting and more fun to watch. I actually unsubscribed from Dear Gamer because he did a big rude and put a huge Stories 2 spoiler in at least two thumbnails, presumably to bait the clicks for better or worse. And finally, yes, you’re way better at that counter than he is.

Everytime I look at DG's channel I just get sad. His viewership dropped off significantly and it's more or less his own fault. His content got extremely repetitive and stale. I actually opted out of watching his first few Stories 2 playthrough videos because he was throwing some sneak disses at the game before it even came out. I don't like people like that.
