The only answer to how versatile their voices are how their harmonies were perfection is that they had natural God given talent. They started harmonizing since children. Barry was 9 and Robin and Maurice were 6 years old. Once they started singing together they just knew where to put their harmonies. That’s all they ever wanted to do. They wanted to sing for people. As children in Manchester England they would stand in street corners and just sing. Barry started writing songs when he was 9 years old. He was 17 years old in Australia when he won the best songwriter of the year award. It was with a lot of hard work and perseverance and the fact that they believed in themselves. Through their 5 decade career they had many obstacles in their career but they always manage to change with the times and proved many people wrong. Bee Gees are just phenomenal. ❤❤❤

Enjoyed your reaction!! 👏They came from a musical family. The story goes when older brother Barry was about 9, their mother heard music coming from their bedroom. Opening the door she was surprised to find it wasn’t from the radio but her 3 sons harmonizing. They were prolific songwriters, writing some songs in minutes, writing for themselves and other artists from more than one genre. I know most women loved Barry, for me it was always Robin. There are some videos of Robin dancing. He can't dance. So endearing. ❤❤ And he was the funny one. There are also videos of that on YT.

They started harmonising at 5 (Robin and Maurice were twins) and 8, and performing when Barry got a guitar for his 9th birthday and the twins were 6. Yes the children you saw were them as youngsters mostly Robin and Barry because Maurice filmed them. Though it was Maurice who waved at the camera when all three stood together at one point in the film as children.

They wrote, composed, and sang such amazing harmonies.. OMG The BEE GEES.. incredible... I just feel so bad for Barry.. the oldest brother.. has buried his 3 younger siblings. I can't imagine.. I've had to bury my one older sister when I was 48.. it destroyed me... Barry is pushing 80 and has lost all his younger brothers. I can't imagine his pain. He's alone

You should check out the live version of Island in the Stream sung by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers written by the Bee Gees. On the one you are watching that is them as kids also them from the 60's. They started recording in the late 50's through the early 2000's and had hits EVERY decade.

Sadly, Barry in the end was left alone. The eldest brother survives and all 3 younger brothers passed away before him. 😢

Their baby brother Andy Gibb had a solo career singing, he sounds a bit like Barry! Listen to Shadow Dancing, one of Andy’s hits! Their older sister Leslie also has a great voice but chose not to have a singing career! She and Barry are the only two of the five siblings still alive! Barry is still writing songs, he will be 77 in September 2023!!!!!!
