Alffy is from East Java province (another part of Indonesia with a totally different traditional culture, local language, traditional costume, traditional music instruments, skin color, hair, culinary type, etc). In Indonesia, the people of Papua known for their dark skin & curly hair. The lyrics of this whole song is in Papua language. The rap part using 3 languages: Indonesian, Papuan & English, coz Indonesia is the largest trilingual country in the world. They speak in: 1. Local language/mother tongue (based on their tribes). Indonesia has over 1340 ethnic groups/tribes (Papua is one of them) & 718 local languages. 2. Indonesian language/Bahasa Indonesia (national language). The only language for all Indonesian people to communicate/understand each other. 3. English. At least a half of them.

I want to visit there as well now! This was a wonderful vid. The scenery, the music, the singing, the story. At times I could not read the translations, but for the most part it didn't matter, as this whole video gave you the sense of what it was about. I loved how there was the infusion of traditional and the new. The blending when the guitar dude came on with the dancers in the video came on was perfect.
