Pattern is much harder on that side. Been like that all year. At the US Open, 5 lefties in the top 24 after first 3 days. When they went to pattern 4, none of those lefties averaged 200 the last 4 rounds.

I bowled a regional qualifier and there were at least 3 lanes in the house that had a bad spot near the foul line. It's like the wood expanded and broke out in the center.

Idk the exact reasoning but its a heavy pattern and he used urethane, stealth, mindset, sensor. Would prolly fit the mindset bag place closest but I'm guessing it's not familiar enough and potentially not enough surface compared to the mindset. Idk though but I'm not surprised. Pros have to shill their balls, they get paid to.

Get after it day 2. I think Mitch has the right play for the lanes and conditions. USBC doesn't want to see the big hook, high rev, flamboyant players at the top. Down and in with just a little hook. Yes, that means lots of ten and seven pins but it keeps the scores low--which is what USBC wants.
