Malaysia was the second Southeast Asian country I've visited outside of the Philippines. The capital (Kuala Lumpur) is widely recognized for numerous landmarks, including the Petronas Twin Towers (twin skyscrapers with a sky bridge and observation deck), the Petaling Street flea market, and Batu Caves, which are over 400 million years old. The official language of Kuala Lumpur is Malaysian, which is also referred to as Malaysian Malay or simply just Malay. This is spoken by the majority of the people in Kuala Lumpur, closely followed by the English language.

It was really fun to visit this country! I had no idea what it would be like, but I was amazed at how modern and inexpensive it was to live there. I plan to go back for another visit in the future.

How is the English there?

I was very suprised to find that many people can speak English well. There is a strong accent, as you can hear in this video, but I still find it to be OK.

Unfortunately it is very annoying to watch with the background music much louder than your voice
