Seeing this side of baylen is really touching. I actually went through a breakup with the literal love of my life this past may. I hated it, I hated myself, I just hated everything. Then one day my friends convince me to go to the gym and let me say, it was the best thing I could’ve ever done. I started seeing progress over time and I was losing weight. It was just something I really needed. I am now pushing more weight than I ever imagined and I’ve lost over 40 pounds in 7 months. I’ll be honest, some days I still think “why?” Or how could someone I truly loved with everything could’ve done this to me. It’s lonely, it truly is lonely. Just keep yourself busy everyday, maintain a set schedule for everyday. Go to work, make that money, go to the gym, lift some heavy weight, get home and eat a good dinner, then get yourself plenty of rest that you deserve for waking up every day and putting in that work.

When you post something like this it makes me realize that your whole life isn’t just sunshine and rainbows, but that you go through hard times too. I have had a hard time trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. And you have shown me that I can literally do anything I want to if I set my mind to it so I have decided to get in the gym, put the work in, and follow my dream with baseball. I hope you read this because this changed my life. I’m 23 and I feel like I’m watching you go through exactly what I did just 2 years ago. I was never a depressed person, but when I was feeling lonely it would get bad. I never spent time with myself so I felt a void when all of my friends in college would go home over the holidays and I would be in my apartment alone. But what I’ve learned is that you need to lean into this. You need to take this time and think of it as spending it with yourself. You’re not bored. Just sit there and think, and think. And you’ll start to become a lot more grounded in who you are. You’ll build a relationship with yourself. It’s amazing and empowering. Wish you the best.

Baylen, Props to you man for finding a healthy vice and wanting to better yourself. I’ve been through a lot of rough times in my life and i’ve learned the best way to get through them is to better yourself, it’s hard to feel bad about yourself and think negative when you’re spending most of your day doing things that better you. I’m currently doing 75 hard and if you don’t know what it is you should look into it. Id really recommend it. Since it’s a new year there are tons of people doing it and to lean on. You should do it with pj and your boys. It would be really good for you guys. You can keep eachother accountable and motivate eachother. I really enjoy it and it’s hard but at the end of the day when i’m in bed i reflect and it feels really good and makes me proud of myself and i think it’s a tool that can benefit you. I enjoy seeing this side of you as it shows you’re human and it’s nice seeing someone like you so open and watching you better yourself. Best of luck to you!
