Welcome to Alter Bridge, you're in for a treat with their entire discography. Blackbird is widely considered their 'greatest' work which I highly recommend. I would listen to the studio version first then watch the live performance at Amsterdam (best vocal) or Wembley ( my favourite even though Myles was sick.) live at Amsterdam performances and Royal Albert Hall are something else! They have so many incredible songs that it's better to just do the whole discography from start to finish to see the evolution of the band.

@@musicmondaywastaken I would strongly suggest the Wembley concert, Miles gives the reason for the lyrics and also does a great tribute to the Beatles song of the same name before their song starts. Even though some say he was sick for the concert, to be honest, you can't tell.

I discovered AlterBridge after hearing and liking Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. I wondered who that kick ass vocalist was and what else had he done!? That was 5 years ago - and I’ve never looked back! I found Mayfield Four, and both Myles’ and Mark Tremonti’s solo stuff, which is also very good. But, AlterBridge to me is the King!! Its alot better and more interesting musically than the Slash stuff (which I also like)! Mark Tremonti’s guitar tone and solos just feel more satisfying to me than Slash; and his riffs are much more metal than bluesy. Meanwhile Myles is no slouch either on rhythm and lead guitars here and there - and adds a more classic rock and blues vibe that meshes do well with Tremonti! I can listen to each of their albums end to end and never be bored. Mark Tremonti’s baritone backing vocals are just magical mixed with Myles tenor! They cannot make a bad song or album! Great band!

7 albums to choose from, a huge rabbit hole to dive into. The suggestions that people are making here are good ones, but there are 4 other songs off of Pawns And Kings that have been released as video singles on KZbin and think that you should check out. They're all awesome, Silver Tongue, Sin After Sin, This is War and Holiday. Have fun with Alter Bridge, I know you will.

Very versatile band, and Myles has insane range.....I will admit I'm about 50/50 on their stuff..... one of the few times a compliment is the reason.... sometimes Myles vocals are too perfect. For me, having some extra grit conveys emotion better, and there's places he's too smooth for the style I like, and other times it works perfect. Definitely one of the most talented bands out there today.

Great reaction to one of my favourite bands, my personal favourite from them is "cry of Achilles" one of my all time favourite songs! Oh and do AB do breakdowns? Oh yes and then some 🤘 Also if you enjoy checking out new music, I can highly recommend Mammoth WvH it's Wolfgang Van Halens Son Wolfgang solo project. His debut album is extraordinary, and he plays every instrument and vocal in each track. He is currently supporting Alter Bridge on their tour, and his band consists of a number of mutual Friends.
