You know, you not know this but this was the part that a lot of people hate because it’s more musical than fighting heartless, and their expressions when they had to do this was so funny! 😂 So it’s very delightful to see you do this!

Hey Jade did you know that in the original PS2 release of KH2, Christmas Town didn't have the special music and costumes for Sora, Donald, and Goofy in Christmas Town😢. That was only in the Final Mix version that was release only in Japan. It felt SO weird having "This is Halloween" play in Christmas Town. But the HD Collections are the final mix versions so I'm so glad you and everyone is able to experience the best version of Christmas Town.

This was sadly the last time Kenneth Mars voiced King Triton before his passing. Similarly, the Emperor was Pat Morita's last voiced role. CoM implied that the potion Memory!Oogie drank have him the real Boogie's memories. This would explain why he lashed out at his killers. This theory could explain why the guy has memory issues post rebirth. In the base game, it took this long for us to recieve confirmation that Axel survived. He was intended to die during the prologue, but the staff was too fond of him to end his story there (he was also a fan favorite).

Sora's costume/picture in the corner will actually change in a few worlds depending on the drive form *beyond* just the clothes. There is some really neat differences in looks depending on the form for a few worlds, but this world has the most obvious and drastic changes. The Timeless River stage also had subtle differences by making Sora's whole body slightly more colorful, like dull red in Valor form.

Oh, just in case you didn't know, each of the Drive Forms levels up differently from regular Sora. Valor Form earns 1 experience for every single hit you land while in that form, so being very aggressive in Valor helps it level up faster. Wisdom Form only gains experience for each Heartless you defeat in that form, so while it's great at damaging bosses from afar and moving around quickly, it won't gain any experience from fighting them, because no Heartless are being defeated (unless they send out some Heartless minions for you to destroy)

Nice work! Halloween Town was obviously taking place after the events of the movie this time. Although I think you should've went to the other world first before this one and then the last one. I also hope you didn't go back to Twilight Town yet. By the way you don't have to save every time you see a save point.

A lot of people don't like KHII's Atlantica because it's entirely rhythm minigames and the original songs are kind of cringy. "Swim This Way" in particular gets memed on a lot, and it being the first song makes a poor first impression. I'm sure Atlantica would have been better received if more of Alan Menken's songs were used, but there's a good chance money got in the way. Looks like you had a good time regardless, though! Personally, I prefer to embrace the cringe in Kingdom Hearts. It's fun to laugh at, but I love how earnest the games are even in the silliest moments. I love how excited Sora is to see Santa! And the little extra bit about how Sora told everyone that he didn't believe in Santa when he was eight because Riku said Santa wasn't real is so funny and adorable.
