I have never played KH2. It came out when I was a kid and seeing that it didnt start you out as Sora put me off. Kid me thought they had changed characters completely. Watching you play it has me wanting to give it a try. Looks like a lot of fun. On a side note, seeing a new video of yours in my feed instantly makes my day better. Not even exaggerating. Outside of games I dont want to be spoiled on I watch them all. That goes for your movie reactions too. You have a great presence. Everyone in your life is very lucky to have you.

A few notes the ability menu is mostly the same with a few exceptions. All abilities are now categorized and color-coded: Blue = action, green = support, yellow = growth, and red is your weapon ability (these are always equipped automatically and vary depending on which keyblade you are using. Guard for example is a blue action ability, if you haven't done so already, I highly recommend equipping that as it will be your only means of defense from enemy attacks early in the game. Donald and Goofy's AI can now be adjusted so that they use abilities at the rate you desire. That's what the different arrow colors mean. Finally concerning the drive gauge revert is largely useless early on because you only have enough for one transformation so it is much more beneficial to stay in the form until the gauge naturally reaches zero. Just some minor tips as the game does a terrible job explaining its mechanics and UI😂 I hope it all helps:)

When using Valor Form, if you can make it to a save point before it runs out, you can exit and re-enter the world and it will reset your drive guage. It can take awhile to fill so this can he handy.

Namine was voiced by Brittany Snow in this game. They brought back Re:Chain of Memories' Meaghan Martin for the scene between her/Axel and Ansem. Like the Organization leader orders Axel scene, it is a Final Mix addition. As you can see, the extra scenes are harder to catch this time around now they are voiced. There are also moments like the puzzle piece being introduced through a text box scene, which is easier to note. One way to level your Form up is to fight some enemies and try to make it to a save point; using it to enter he Gummy ship will reset your Drive gauge instead of using it up. There will also be moments like when you first took control of Sora, where Donald and Goofy were walking around the area instead of being in your party- entering such an area will also reset the charge, though this only lasts until you progress through the story.

Quick tip, take a look at the Valor form drive in the start menu so you can see how to level it up, that way you can gain a new ability!

You actually did have enough AP to equip the Combo Boost when you first looked at it after leveling up. If you don't have enough AP, the name will be darkened out like it was when you first checked. When the Abilities have the yellow circle it means they're equipped, and when it's the sparkles they're not equipped. Oh, and in this game you can check the journal to see if you're missing any chests in each world. And on Mulan's voice being perfect, it's actually the same actress! Most of the Disney characters are either their original actors, or people who do their voices in smaller features. Fun fact about Alice, her voice actress reprised her role in KH1, which released over 50 years after the movie did. Her voice aged a bit more noticeably after that, so she returns to voice a different character later in the series

So, just some useful information since the game itself doesn’t actually tell you: The Drive Forms you acquire can gain experience and level up. The EXP requirement is different for each form. It’s highly recommended you level up the forms as early as possible, as each form has what’s called a “Growth Ability”. A Growth Ability is an ability that is tied to a Drive Form that, upon the form reaching a certain level, Sora can learn and use without having to activate the form. Valor Form’s EXP requirement is hits successfully landed on enemies and bosses. So, for every hit you successfully deliver to an enemy, Valor Form will gain 1 EXP. You can check how much EXP each form needs in the “Status” section on the Pause Menu. One last tidbit. The maximum level for each Drive Form is 7, but the maximum level won’t be achievable until you’ve unlocked all of the Drive Forms.
