For future reference, in later levels. You don't need to run all the time. Crouching conceals sound. The Janitor/Mr Wiggly Arms kept catching you because you kept triggering squeaky floorboards and not walking on soft areas! He reacts to sound, not smell. There are no smell mechanics in game. So be wary that you can hide/sneak past enemies provided you are careful. Take your time to survey the layout and you may have more chances of not getting caught.

Sometimes though it may be in your best interest to RUN! I've enjoyed your playthrough so far! I'd also recommend the DLC Secrets of The Maw on the behalf of those who have already mentioned it. Good luck with completing the rest of the game! Also if you like the first game, the second will surpass your expectations.

I just played that game last week and it was my first horror game! I was really proud of myself because I was too scared until now to play so many amazing games and now I opened a door to a much bigger gaming world. Im happy. After playing it I thought about recommending it to you but well....you are always one step ahead..:'D

Game is massively based on the movie "The City of Lost Children" 1995 . I would recommend you to watch it for better understanding of game concept. It's not necessary but useful , also movie itself is quete unique. And young Ron Perlman in it 😎

I guess you can't climb a rope because it's difficult. And you play as little skinny girl. And cute. You can slightly increase the brightness. You can't see anything when it's dark. Don't make assumptions that something works in some way, this is how you block your creativity and intuition. I have seen it many times before when you try to solve something. There are many possibilities. I think psychology woke up in me.

Ah. Little nightmares. MODERN CLASSIC for horror-style games. I have a recommendation to add to the pile of games you get recommended all the time. Death’s Gambit Afterlife; it’s a great 2D metroidvania/souls-like that recently got the MASSIVE (Afterlife) update. I’d HIGHLY recommend it if you like Dark Souls (which I know you do 😉). I think you’d love it. 😁👍🏻
