Hi! Welcome to the EXO journey! It will be one hell of an experience, I'm telling you 😅 EXO is an amazing group made of 9 talented all-rounders. Their discography has different genres that it feels like picking from a bottomless bag of candies and you never know what flavour you get - and it's all non-skippable! As you will notice, every song has unique instrumentals and mind-blowing vocals that are quintessential EXO. These guys are top tier artists, elite performers who sing live better than recorded! There is a channel called Dingo, which will be releasing a video tomorrow (for me, depends on timezones 😅) with EXO that is part of a series called "Killing Voices". Only instrumentals and raw live vocals, they also have to make bg vocals. So I'd suggest you watch that so you get an idea of who we are talking about here when it comes to vocals. It has been said that they entered, recorded everything one-take and left. I don't know what kind of music you like but anything you'll pick will smash! Yes, it is a live performance. It's a set from their concert and the most famous is that one from Japan. It is hot, oh, man, VERY HOT live performance!!!! But be aware sometimes Japanese stages get blocked on YT, so be careful.

Bro, say the word and I can hook you up, IN ORDER if you like. They've been around for 11 years, so their discography is huge. They sing all genres of music except country and metal/rock. They are singers, crooners, and are vocals superior in kpop. They are one of the biggest kpop group of all time to this day....why? Vocals. Check out their first 2 mvs introduced to the public in December 2011. They were babies back then, but they had the chops, fresh out of school. WHAT IS LOVE (sung by Baekhyun and D.O.) HISTORY, MAMA, GROWL, WOLF (they started with 12 members, but are now down to 9) They have a story and concept behind their music. But that's for another day.... I'm sure you'll find some jamming music to bop to when you take your walks.😊 💙🌺

Tomorrow they release their Killing Voice on dingo. You can check that out first because it'll probably give you a better idea of what they're all about. Sehun and Chanyeol are the main rappers. They actually have their own subunit and they do a lot of chill rap songs. I think over the years their partnership have grown and they really are at their best. Overall they do a lot of R&B so if you keep listening to them body rolling is a must. Since you like this vibe I would check out Tempo and Love Shot. For a more intense sound I would listen to Monster and Obsession. If you like slow songs you can react to Let me in and Sing for you. They have a lot of albums and most of the memebers also have solo albums and it's all great music.

@1ArmReacts I was just recommending a bit of their different sounds, but if you want to really dive into EXO, you could go chronologically. It's a lot, tho. First, you need to know this was a 12 member group divided into two subunits (EXO K and EXO M) that debuted in 2012. They came together to release songs later, but three of the chinese members left in 2014. Now they are a 9 member group, but they usually promote with 8 since one of them works mostly in China. This comeback, they sadly had to do it with 7 members since Kai was forced to do his military service earlier than expected. In order the MVs go: 1. What is love 2. History 3. Mama 4. Wolf (the live remix is better) 5. Growl 6. Overdose 7. Call me baby 8. Love me right 9. Lightsaber (yes, they did a collab with Star Wars). 10. Lucky one 11. Monster 12. Lotto (the live version is better) 13. Kokobop 14. Power 15. Tempo 16. Love Shot 17. Obsession 18. Don't Fight the Feeling 19. Let me in 20. Hear me out. And that's without counting japanese, Christmas albums, their two subunits, and the solo stuff. No pressure 😅

Welcome my friend....your journey is just beginning!!! You have about 10 years worth of absolute BANGERS from EXO to catch up on, so take your time! You can start with the Official Individual Guides by Ceasear Oh to get to know each member and all of the talent they bring to the grroup. Then, work your way through every album because it's so worth it...these gentlemen make HITS on HITS from the A sides to the B sides it don't matter!!!! They have a heavy R&B and Hip Hop foundation BUT you'll still hear all types of sounds and influences in their music because they love to experiment with vibes. As you go through the different albums, you'll have a chance to watch some of their music videos, dance practices and live performances of the songs. Some songs may only have Lyric Videos but Do Not Skip those cause some of my favorites songs by EXO don't even have music videos or stage performances. Oh, and they All have solo albums full of BOPS!! If you start from their beginning, you can't go wrong. You will experience the different Eras (albums) and completely fall in love like the rest of us. And yes, their body rolls are savage!!!
