This gacha is an interesting one, you already have all 12 playables and that doesn't increase at least not yet. You pull for their "alternate selves". Basically "if I did that differently I would have been in a different position" sort of thing. Each character is based on a real life book. And the one redhead you got your eyes on is based on Moby Dick. Silver haired girl is based on "Faust" The depressed black haired guy is based on the Korean author Yi Sang and mostly references "The Wings" work. The happy looking girl with the lance is based on "Don Quixote" Red eyed woman with a long sheathed sword(odachi) is based on the "Hell screen" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa The stoic hunk of a man with gauntlets is based on the French book "l'etranger" or "Stranger" The guy with one light blue eye and Guan Dao is based on a long chinsese novel "Dream of the red chamber" The tanned guy with a bat is based in a British story "Wuthering Heights" The brown haired woman with an axe is based on "Crime and punishment" A small yellow haired boy with a halberd is based on "Demian" A tanned woman with earrings is based on the "Odyssey" And a guy with the weird arm is based on the "Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. Main character you play as is based on "Divine comedy" hence the vergillius being our guide. I'm pulling those from memory which is why I don't provide authors for all works. And about deaths.. to be kinda vague there is a LOT of death. But on which side is for you to learn, dear future manager.

I think I understood the concept about the characters, but it's still weird to imagine. I have to play the game to get the feel of it. Ngl, the concept of the game is interesting, the characters have really nice design, even the story feel compelling. But, one of the main points that is making me want to play the game is the music. HOLY, the music in this game is incredible. I've reacted to 2 so far and a little bit of the one in this trailer (which I plan on reacting full later). Still, it'll take a bit for me to start this one, as I'm already in the middle of streaming another gacha, but this one will be 100% my next one.

​@Arzeras do it when you decide to o7. One word of warning, tutorial here is ATROCIOUS with some stuff even being a bit changed. If, for when you start playing, you struggle with understanding, maybe some people suggested or not, there is a good tutorial by some guy on yt. Not required so decide on your own.

So, the main characters are based off of famous works of literature. For example the one with the spanish spear is Don Quixote, from the book of the same name. We have spain, france, great britan, us, korean, japaneese, chinese, swizz/german, german, hebrew/german/czech, greek, Russian and I think that is it for the character reference literature origin. Another thing, none of the characters are really from a real contry, as the setting is esentially a singular giant city state (very simplified, but gives the idea).

@@Arzeras considering the whole system is build around there being 12 sinners (plus Dante) that is unlikely, but the City as a whole has lots of characters of various nationalities.

Limbus company is basically a group of 12 traumatised individuals and each chapter is about facing one's past. They roam around the city and collect artifacts if simplyfied

They profit off their other games an merch. People who play limbus also buy the other games in the entry and any in the future. They are also fine with their low profits as they already have enough for 5 years and anymore will go into the animation. Also the team is around 50 devs and the restaurant they run so they don't need a lot to pay for the staff. ​@@Arzeras

@@Arzeras they have different skill sets, speed ranges, Max HP, etc. the game has different archetypes that you can run so sometimes it's better to run one identity over another if they specialize in said archetype
