can i hit these trails with a hardtail if I'm careful?

It sort of depends on the trail, as there are some pretty gnarly ones out at moose. But this one in the video for example, I don't think you'd have too much difficulty if you're a confident rider. A hardtail is actually a quite capable bike in the hands of the right rider.

after you ride a trail at moose how do you get backt o the moose mountain parking lot

It depends on which trail you're riding. Some trails end at Ing's mine, some at Station flats, and some at the moose mountain road parking lot itself. The best bet is to know what trail you're riding and arrange for your shuttle to pick you up at the end point of that particular trail. Trailforks is super helpful to plan out your lap

@@kylegoplin yup I've ridden them all, those all end up at Ings mine! You get to the little Creek/river at the end of the trail and then ride along the dirt road back to the parking lot. The creek will be on your left as you head back to the lot.

That trail is definitely NOT for beginners, I crashed hard 3 times. hahaha

Definitely not! Even the "blue" ride-around the rock drop was pretty challenging I found. I'm not the most confident technical rider to be honest though
