Yep, a big round of applause to Bethesda for making so much god damn money off of Skyrim and not putting any of it towards upgrading the existing engine or switching to a better one. An 8 year old engine that wasn't good to start with, no matter how shiny you make it, how much you upgrade it, it's still going to be shit. Plus Bethesda can't be bothered to make a new animation system and just expect the modders to do it for them.

Right? If only it had its own animations that made it kinda slow and lumbering like some tortured starving thing, but made it all savage and desperate when attacking as though it would finally have a meal. Have the sounds get more distorted and frantic as it gets damaged or attacks and give it an area of effect with a chance to cripple your head rather than just attacking your head. Maybe have them stuck in loops of some horrifically distorted part of their announcements when killed for a while. As if Fallout 4 could do all of this.
