Thanks for the video, I’m over on Carriacou and I’m so jealous of the hashes in Grenada. We do have a good group of walkers here and often end up on trails in the bush but I don’t think there are many hashes here. I work and summer near Boston and it’s so nice to get out in nature here, and I don’t really miss the snow.

We hash in Carriacou once per year but o don’t think there are hashes over there outside of that. Carriacou is lovely though and very peaceful

Is the no running water situation just in the camp area, or does it extend to nearby residential as well? I remember days of getting water from the "stand pipe". What parishes does the.Balthazar river run through? I am guessing from your description it's bigger than the St John's river? Another great vlog. Thanks for sharing

St. John’s is the longest river, however the Balthazar River is part of the Great river that travels through several villages in St. Andrew. It is known to be our biggest river in terms of its width and the amount of water that flows through it throughout the year. I’m not sure about the running water situation but I think it’s limited to the camp area.

What is hash?

A hash is similar to a hike. We start and end at the same location and it takes place every week at different locations across the island. It’s a fun social activity and a great way to explore our beautiful island. We follow bits of paper on the trail. There are usually different trail options but the most common options are ‘walkers’ and ‘runners’. However, you can choose to run the walkers trail or walk the runners trail. The main difference is that the runners trail is usually longer and more challenging.
