I stayed in a hostel in London. It was a room full of bunk beds. Round ticket from LAx plus hostel stay…all for $900 back in 2017.

capsule hotels are one of my favorite things about japan. i saw them in a documentary a long time ago and thought they were interesting. the clear box ones are weird though. having people be able to see you makes it seem like you're in a human zoo. lol
