Try breaking down the net off the pole and rolling the two arms together to the fish to pick it up makes it a lot easier when there getting them bigger fish gd to see so many fish out in one session. 👍

@@SnaggedBro not a chance, I gave up carp fishing about 10 years ago because there are no carp lakes never mind sturgeon. A few around the country that's it. Not even nice fisheries and more match venues. In the Stoneage I'm afraid when it comes to this type of fishing.

Nice vid guys! One remark tho, sturgeons are like sharks and they can't breath properly when they aren't swimming. Their gills can't push enough water over them manually, so when reviving/resting a sturgeon u should always keep pushing them back and forth a bit to make sure it gets enough oxygen.

I’m new to lure fishing for pike but when I go I normally stay in one place for 10-15 minutes then you can cover more ground and possibly catch but if you catch in that spot stay for another 10-15 just in case that’s a spot for them , hope I help 👍🏼🎣

Quite amusing watching this. Bite alarms and a little radio boat, not sure I get this at all. The last Sturgeon I caught were from the Fraser river, biggest was 450lb, most are 80 to 220lb. Somewhat larger than these poor critters and from a natural environment, as opposed to some little pond in England.

Yes lads, where was this? I do quite a bit of sturgeon fishing myself and am based in Birmingham, I usually go to mineral lakes in Bedworth but looking to try somewhere else new, I do recommend giving mineral lakes a go though it’s unbelievable, catch 10-15 fish every time I go😂👊
