Just want to add 1 more, nasi berlauk ( economy rice ). White rice with your choice of dishes. There is chinese style and malay style. One restaurant can serve more than 10 dishes sometimes more than 30 😂 only during lunch time and i suggest to go to Kampung Baru ❤

There is no specific recipe for making nasi lemak's sambal... depends on the chef. that's why you can taste different sambal although the ingredients used are mostly the same. such as onion, anchovies, dried chilli, ginger, lemongrass, etc... but each sambal has its own special ingredient and uniqueness...

@@koandmi kampung baru for all types of malay nasi including nasi dagang, nasi lemak, nasi campur, nasi kukus... 😋😋😋 yummm! Also for pulut mangga, pulut cendol, and variety of malay sweet bubur, bubur is porridge, but here it means sweet snacks like bubur pisang (pisang = banana), bubur kacang (bung beans) which is my favorite 😋 together with bubur jagung (corns), bubur pulut hitam (black glutinous rice), bubur puteri mandi (bathing princess), bubur badak berendam (bathing hippos), bubur cha cha,... 😂

I know people hype Village Park for their nasi lemak but after I tried their nasi dagang, I always went there and ordered nasi dagang. Havent ordered Nasi Lemak Village Park in a long time because of their nasi dagang 😅. im from the east coast and I think their nasi dagang is good or might be on of the best there and im comparing it to other places around that place (Damansara/TTDI). But anyhow, you gotta try it if you cant find a genuine Terengganu/kelantan restaurants that sell good nasi dagang around there. Good nasi lemak and nasi dagang in my opinion!

if there's one thing i seen on japanese on malaysia with sambal is that they have love/hate relationship with it.. since japanese arent keen to spicy food, but somehow, sambal make it them to try more inspite the spicyness..not the over spicy, just that to-feel the spicyness for it..and these thing only happend in malaysia , ...iChang have made it from scratch,so she alter the recipe to abit less spicy than usual from malay taste for it..
