Food for thought that a good friend told me about top water . Once the fish hits it . Could to 2 seconds before setting the hook. 80% of the chance it smokes em 20 % you’ll miss them

These neighborhood ponds are so temperamental. One day you can fill a bag, then not catch a thing for weeks and you wonder if the fish suddenly died. Doesn't help that in my neighborhood there is a person that keeps the fish she catches and doesn't understand the recreational purpose of a neighborhood fishing hole... the fish don't just magically restock themselves!

Yeah overfishing hits the ponds hard. One person could definitely wipe out most of the ponds I fish at. One super dry summer can wipe them out too
