I feel for you as a support player in comp it sucks at least for me cuz I get paired with duo a tank and dps and they yell at me for not healing them. Meanwhile there just standing still letting sojurn and Hanzo mains obliterate them. The only time I don't get toxic teammates is when I play baptist with a friend of mine that plays support to. Ball is a very peculiar tank and usually very good ball players do their own things in the enemies backlines annoying the supports and dividing stacked teams. He's very hard to master tho and that's why there are very few ball players who are actually really good (I'm not one of them)

Listen idk if ur new or not but I’m just gonna assume that you maybe are…? If you go into comp playing bad then yeah understandable but if ur doing relatively good like at least 14 elims and 6k damage then I think ur good. I can get toxic too but that’s only if someone’s not doing the job they were assigned as a certain role. Like I was in a game with a Moria and she was doing zero healing and pushed a rein all by herself 😂 But if your playing good and they are being toxic then yeah they are trash But if your playing bad and you know it then don’t get upset at toxicity especially if it’s competitive.

@@deathrisingx6328 i dislike this train of thought alot, just because someone is playing badly, doesnt make it right to act like a bitch and be toxic. if a player is new and trying their best, you being toxic wont help and will just make matters worse, being kind, or just not saying anything goes a long way. even just having an off day where ur not playing well, still doesnt warrant toxic behaviour. a dps moira tho is something i can understand getting toxic about, playing badly on purpose, or refusing to listen to advice given by the team does justify someone getting mad (even if i personally wont engage in it). when you grow up you eventually realize that being toxic does no one any favors, you yourself clouded in your anger dont perform well, and the teammates your being toxic towards regardless of reason dont play well either as a product of a toxic environment or on purpose. tldr: dont be toxic, does no one any favors.

The problem is that now most of the supports play as if they were a DPS or a Tank, they go ahead alone and when there is a problem instead of asking for help they do nothing and immediately give up. I've seen so many do this. I generally play DPS but also Tank and Support and my first rule as a Support is: never be alone.

I haven't really got blamed for playing her yet except maybe one time in QP cuz my tank was in front of payload and we couldnt heal him at all, it was funny cuz I had like 12k heal while Ana had like 3k but he was mad at me lmao. The second support usually gets blamed a lot more though.

I had my first toxic game when I was playing with my DAD. it was in unranked too. Some dude told me to kms bc I only had 200 heals as Moria - but I switched to her at the end of the game to support HIM since he was the tank and I was hoping he’d be able to charge in with my help. I was Sombra the entire game up until then. Just goes to show how some people don’t pay attention to their teammates and just don’t care about the actual people they play with and against :(

I had to deal with a toxic sym just yesterday because sym was complaining alot ( I'm a healer btw and I was healing them alot when we were on point) and then I told him nicely to relax it's not a big deal and then he called me a b!txh so I cussed him out, his wife and reported them too even my husband was cussing them too. As a female mercy main in high masters who USES vc, it doesn’t get any better the higher up you go. It gets incredibly tiring, and I promise you a lot of the time, the angry person will just target anyone who comes into voice even if all they’re saying it comm info like “rein behind.” This game is so horrible. And when you do stand up for yourself especially as a woman they and their friends mass report you. Trash game tbh.

Movement truly does separate a decent Mercy from one that struggles to climb. With the way her kit is, survivability really is essential. Evasive movement and proper positioning is the probably only reason I was able to play her to Diamond. I could really improve my aim and my leading/tracking though, which is the main thing preventing me from playing a lot of Ana or Baptiste.

I'm starting to get these games. I'm a new overwatch player since I just started to play when overwatch 2 launched but I've gotten a pretty good handle of things. At first I played with people who didn't know what they're doing and then I could notice the matchmaking was changing everytime. Now am being matched with almost everyone having a title "master challenger" or "Top 500 challenger" and the games r really toxic. So far I've met a few that will get on mic just to insult the whole team while they have the least kills, damage and always going in by themselves separating from the team and still expecting you to heal them from miles away. Like you would expect since the matchmaking gets harder you would have teammates that listen to the "group up" or "come for healing" but nope. They ignore it completely and then get mad when they die

Mercy is my main I been playing since the first Overwatch . I have had many people tell me I am the best mercy they ever seen . However the other day I did see a very good mercy I will say she was even better than me .It makes me so mad and upset when the other people on the team blame me when I did nothing wrong . I am not saying im perfect because we all have our bad days and there is times I do make bad decisions. For example, sometimes there is one person left on the point or payload and I rush the help them ,they just die because it is only us and then I die . I have done that a couple times because I try to help everyone . I played a game yesterday and the reaper and mei were DooDoo garbage!!!! Reaper was by himself in a room and died , and nobody was protecting the healers . All the sudden junk rats rip tire came out and I backup up healing Sigma ... Well the tire killed all of us and we lost the game!!! Then mei said to report me ... -__- I am like what am I supposed to do , I try my best , we all died!!!

I finally had my first very toxic competitive game this past week playing as mercy lol. Literally 30 seconds into the game our tank (roadhog lol) was like “REALLY MERCY? ONLY 80 IN HEALS?” This guy was just going on in voice chat about how “trash” I was and how Moira, our other support, on our team was so much better and whatnot, this roadhog was also complaining that we lost already only a minute into the game mind you. Anyway, the game ends, we ended up winning, I had the highest number in heals in the entire lobby, about 12 saves, good damage boost beam usage. It’s crazy how toxic people can really be on this game hahaha.

This is why I've just given up playing Mercy and started playing Brig. Playing Mercy without a premade party of minimum 3 is nigh impossible anywhere below Masters. At least I can pick up DPS slack and pretty much become the 3rd DPS, heal at the same time, and put frontal pressure without sacrificing my healing. If that still doesn't yield a win, then the team just stinks and I can move on.

I haven't played any fps games for about a year, hopped on OW2 yesterday--just some QP, and the community only got worse somehow from what I experienced lol. Also they got rid of LFG, general chat in the menu screen, and I can't browse the Top500 leaderboards anymore while I'm waiting in queue... why'd they go do all that? Additionally, why'd they make it so that in order to see the entirety of chat I have to enter chat now? Now I can't just peek over. Plus, all the ranks look "bland," dull, and I'll confuse diamonds and Top500s, and golds and grandmasters. This second paragraph doesn't have to deal with the video, but, I just wanted to say that I personally feel like the game got downgraded in multiple little ways--not sure if anyone else feels the same.

I was playing a game as lucio and I was stalling the payload and they called me dog even tho I stalled the payload for so long and my whole team except a guy called calm very fitting were hating on me. like i was saying I stalled the payload but didnt heal them because i was stalling and the teammate called calm got potg and they also made fun of him and 1 of the dps said he killed everyone at the end when potg showed calm killing everyone at the end oh yeah the guy at the end said lucio your dog and then said look who got potg "FAM" IN A BRITISH ACCENT

Mercy Main: I got 32 assists and 8 players saved in my last comp match- still got told by someone on my team that I should be reported for “purposefully throwing the match” (same person I revived multiple times). Told the whole game to report me LOL I was like dude why?? I keep dying bc I’m getting left out alone and have nobody to GA to. maybe get kills with damage boost rather than have me heal bot you?? Idk I tried my best but it sucks being YELLED at after trying to heal everyone all at once. Sure I could’ve tried to stay alive a little longer but oh well. Nobody is perfect

Me too! I have played unranked mode all the time and still met some toxic teammates. We did heals, res and damage boost but they didn’t satisfied. I hope that I could do something else more than just report and avoid them.

these toxic people have pushed me down so much that I don't want to play comp anymore I mean I know you are supposed to be doing good but I'm trying my best and it sucks to be yelled at by the supports or tanks. I probably suck ngl with a avg of 7-16 kills on dps at silver.

I am new to gaming overall, Overwatch is the 2nd game I've played. The first one was a PVE. I have zero aim. Never had the need to. I started playing OW 1 month ago. I play Mercy because I like to support instead and I don't need too much aim to play her. I think I do OK. I have good games, I have bad games just like everyone else. I have gotten SO much toxicity... I sometimes don't want to play anymore. I wasn't born knowing how to game. How can I get better at something if not by playing it? I don't go into comp, so I don't understand how I'm getting others. Sure, I can practice with AIs, which I do, but it's not the same. One time I wasn't having a good day, and people, of course, got angry. And I just preferred to quit mid-game. I just want to enjoy the game and have fun. It's not comp.
