Looks like I'm not the only one getting dazed over the video, what a ride. I'm just a layman with no EE or even programming know-how but watched many channel on the topic. First, this video's thumbnail just exudes "PRO" and that's why I clicked, but then the intro gives early KZbin career vibes, and I was and still am excited to be an early subscriber without even looking at the channel counter. Two minutes in I was asking myself "What's going on ?! Am I in the matrix?" when the JLCPCB logo comes but still it make sense given the end product, even the soldering montage is hilarious for the presentation alone, the design is so good, but then it was held with a loose tape haha and the relaxing soldering bit is the cherry on top, although a tad too long IMO. Ultimately though, like @JorrelO said, I still have no idea what the thing is and what you're trying to achieve, and I would love even just slightly more details. Given the tittle in the thumbnail, I thought it was a stand-alone video because unlike the other two videos you didn't put the part 3 in the tittle but then says so in the intro card followed by "part 1" the next second haha. It all make sense when it got to the "about channel" part when you said the intention is for self-documentation, but think you already have all the skill set and a pleasant and comforting voice (plus the humor it reminds me of "This old Tony") here's hoping the algo pick this even more. I don't know whether you would go more "maker" space like Great Scott or into more EE focus like Phil's Lab, either way this video got you one more subscriber !

Hey, thanks for your comment! I really appreciate the positive feedback and critiques! Obviously I'm new at this and still learning so I appreciate any sort of feedback regarding presentation, content, etc... At least it seems like I'm on the right track based on the insights you gave. Thanks again, more videos to come and I will definitely incorporate the ideas you mentioned!

Was listening to your 'about the channel' part and I think that it isn't shocking at all that you got an ad for this channel. The content is informative, pacing is good, even some humor there! There are just not that many channels like this. There is Great Scott, which does a good job at explaining things in detail, Phil's Lab, and I might not know half of them. Even still, if you're new to the field then everything that you yourself take for granted is interesting to me. You got this breakout board for supplying power, I'd be interested to know your considerations in making it. Same goes for the parts you soldered yourself, what did you consider to do a one-sided assembly service only? Same goes for the tracing part, maybe there were some interesting considerations, one or two, that you could share. All I can say is that I clicked subscribe after watching one video, looking forward to the next and if it's a personal-log format, I'd still watch it because its interesting!

Hey, thank you for your comment! It really means a lot when someone enjoys my content, and I'm glad that you're looking forward to future videos. Also you make a good point about going into more detail and I'm trying to incorporate that into future videos. Still figuring this stuff out, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
