My First Vintage Replica Ruby Slippers

I actually have 2 parse of replica Ruby slippers I made by hand and I am working on another pare .The first pare I finished on the anniversary of the wizard of oz.

MGM had planned to use silver slippers but they had a change of mind and used ruby ones instead.

Oh my God that’s probably the bestpair I have seen the ones from the company in Australia. They’re the wrong shape. The bows are wrong. Everything’s wrong about them. Yours looked absolutely perfect. I would I would never have known that they weren’t real.

What absolutely hate is when they get their shoes wrong and most of the replicas gets the heels wrong these were perfect. Absolutely perfect.

The best thing about Ikon's pairs are they are officially licensed. I don't buy any Oz item that is not officially licensed.

@@chestyvulva yeah but they need to call the them just Ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz not replicas because they’re not like the real shoes at all the shoe form is wrong. The heels are too boxy and low and the form of them is not right the the bows are completely wrong. It may be licensed but there the ugliest ones you can get.-the western costume did in 1989 or identical because they use the shoe form and they made the shoes from scratch just like they had in 1939 for MGM. Those were $5000 and 1989.

Around a decade ago I considered making a pair of slippers myself, but I quickly gave up when I couldn't find the right shoes!
