This is the first valve radio resurrection that I had done, The radio housing was vary badly broken and was not shore how it would look at the end.

That came out nice Melissa and the case repair is superb. Well done 👍😀 I don't use the Variac to adjust the voltage with the dim bulb in the circuit because you can't tell if the bulb is too bright or not. I set the line voltage with the Variac then apply power to the set, if the bulb comes on bright the bulb will absorb the current and not damage the radio. If I want to use the Variac I switch out the bulb and watch the Watt meter for excessive current draw 🙂

Hi, some people say they could hear and some say the music was loud, I think the problem is the way the music and audio mixed on the stereo track, maybe something to do with listening to the video in mono or stereo,,, I tested it on some of my devices and it was ok, but sorry that it did not work for you, I no long put backing music in my videos if im talking, thank you for your comment
