Kanti on NH 28 is famous as Siddhapeeth. Devotees keep coming here for worship throughout the year. This temple is the second temple of Chhinnamastika Mata in the country and the only temple of Chhinnamastika Mata in Bihar. Maa has a sword in her right hand and her own severed head in her left hand. During the Navratri days, a flood of faith surges here. Sadhaks from every corner of the country come here for Tantra Siddhi and Sadhna.
Mother's form :-
In this form, the mother cuts off her own head to satisfy the hunger of another. This shows that the mother has a great sense of altruism and sacrifice.
Secondly, the Mother is alive even after her head is cut off; this in itself is a sign of complete introvert sadhana. When a seeker becomes introvert, he rises above the limitations of the body, he goes beyond the body. He starts experiencing his divine form.
Maa's Trishul was brought from Rajrappa after worshipping Maa Chhinnamastika temple. Priest Mukesh Priyadarshi tells that Mahatma Anand Priyadarshi established this temple. He told that Mahatma Anand Priyadarshi worshipped Maa Chhinnamastika for a long time, then he got inspiration from Maa to build her temple in Muzaffarpur. Then after the division of Bihar and Jharkhand, Mahatma Anand Priyadarshi thought that the people of Bihar have to go to Rajrappa in Jharkhand to see Maa. So why not establish a temple of Maa in Bihar too. With this thought, Maharaj ji established the temple on 11 June 2000. In which Maa's Trishul was brought from Rajrappa after worshipping and installed here.
