Hi tomorrow I start my first day at ite east, my greatest fear is how the students there are as, not to be rude but ite has a certain reputation, so just like to ask how’s the learning environment over there is it more positive then what people say ?

no worries, i also had a similar concern prior to entering ite!! from my personal experiences, the environment is alot better compared to the stereotypes people have of ite. sure ite has its pros & cons, but it also largely depends on the type of people you surround urself with so it's essential that you find friends who don't indulge in behaviours that do not align with your morals. from my observation, everyone in ite usually just keep to themselves; no one really bothers anyone. as for teachers, all the teachers that i have had so far are incredibly supportive & encouraging. they're approachable & you can count on them for anything, from your studies to personal issues. they'll do their best to support you :) for school attendance & academic-wise, just like in every other aspect in life - self-discipline is key. hope this helps and eases your concerns a lil bit, other than that, atvb in ur ite endeavours!

yep! you can wear your sec sch uni or white top/black bottom on your first few days :-)

@@wongj42_0v0 oo hm my advice would be to be initiative & intentional when making friends! surround yourself with peers (preferably from ur course) who will spur you on in ur ite education journey :) & most imptly, do not slack in ur 1st yr haha im personally regretful for not prioritising my studies well in my 1st yr. it may be tough somewhere throughout but might as well make it worthwhile 🤍
