If you happen to see spectacled langurs, you will fall in love with these cute little primates. I also don't like monkeys because they tend to be aggressive, unpredictable, and mischievous.

I have never seen a spectacled langur. I had to look it up on Google 😂

@@SeanSeesAdventure You can look up videos of tourists feeding spectacled langurs in Prachuab Kiri Khan on KZbin. They are adorable, especially when they climb on your shoulder for food.

I don't know where to stay in Kata beach, but I could recommend a spot in Patong that I enjoyed. As for motorbikes, you'll either need an international license, or if you get stopped at a police checkpoint have to pay 1000 Baht.

Aww, I'm so sorry for you about that stupid monkey try to chase you out off where you wanted to go, but yes I don't blame you to take a risk about that so better enjoy your trips instead got hurt by the monkeys... Monkeys are scary creatures. When I was little, there were wild monkeys who were cherished that attacked fishermen. It bit his head until it broke, he died, and the monkeys were wiped out by the local government. A large group of monkeys can be as many as 100-200. And that's terrifying. They can dive to a depth of 10-50 meters. Monkeys that are close to people are not dangerous, but they are not for monkeys in the wild. And here's how to deal with monkeys. 1. Do not feed the monkeys ... 2. Don't stare into the monkey's eyes ... 3. Don't pretend to tease or challenge the monkeys... 4. Do not move too often and too quickly ... 5. Don't show fear ... 6. Monkey nodding may mean say no.

How much was the food (drunken noodle)? Random stuff is what it's all about! lol, that damn monkey! His fur bulked up as he went towards you. that seems territorial behavior. Don't blame you.

Hey Erik. Yeah, that monkey freaked me out :). I think the drunken noodle dish was about $4. You can find cheaper food, but in the heart of the old town, I think that's a good price.
