Oh Satoshi this was lovely. You got so many beautiful shots of the windmills and your excitement was adorable. And those pancakes looked so good. When ever I have pancakes with a side of sausage or bacon I always dip it in the syrup, it just taste so good. I just love the sweet/salty combination.😊

I live in a town in germany with a windmill museum, so it was fun comparing x3 Ours has windmills from all around the world, part of them are replicas but some were transported from their original places. We even have a windmill you can marry in (even though that one is a replica and doesn't stand on museum's grounds) The café inside the museum did have a seperate entrance, so you didn't have to buy a ticket to when you just wanted to go there, that seperate entrance was closed some years. It's changed owners recently (it's now owned by the town itself) and I think that entrance is coming back now. The museum's bakery's specialty is Zuckerkuchen and, for Satoshi maybe interesting, Zwiebelbrot. (Sourdough bread with fried onions baked into the dough.) They also do a great car show every summer with old timers from all around and a kite day in fall if the weather is okay.

It looks like the area around our town, though we only have a windmill in town (that's still milling grain). Such a familiar sight. My father grew up on a small farm that's build in a similar style as the houses there :) I remember my mother sometimes making pancakes for me for lunch; always a treat coming home between morning and afternoon school. At home usually we make them plain, or with bacon in it, perhaps some cheese. At least in our family. Sorry you also got to experience the typical Dutch weather.

Great video. Zaanse schans is beautiful as is Amsterdam of course. Remember that the Netherlands is much more than Amsterdam and its surroundings. So much to see in the other provinces that are not called Holland. The big birds are geese. The weather in the Netherlands is not that bad. Most of the time it’s dry. The most rain falls in the provinces next to the coast. The so called ‘dry sandgrounds’, ‘drove zandgronden’ in the south and east of the country are much dryer and much warmer. I give you a tip. Drink beer from a glass, preferably a glass that is specially made for that (type of) beer. It’s not maple syrup but apple syrup.
