My flatmate first time hearing I Nightwish - The Poet and The Pendulum

Hello all! So I made my flatmate watch The Poet and The Pendulum live at Wembley and beforehand, I explained to her about NW and a little bit of the story.
I tried my best adding subtitles when needed.

Great reaction. Welcome Martha! Listen to "The Greatest Show on Earth" at Tampere. I think there MAY be a version with subtitles in other languages and it might help Martha. Not sure. The one thing for sure is that the NW Army will support you willingly.

Well well, i was duck hunting and then sauna but i must take this. "Poet and the Pendulum" is a difficult song for starters, hell it's a difficult one for a veteran as i am. It's a great song and this Wembley Arena performance is excellent. You did it well too. But this is a hard piece. Thank you, Cinthia and Martha!

The "Windmills" did it! Then Floors softer voice, oooh! The dramatic orchestral horns. The pounding acceleration, Marco, contrasting with Floor, then in unison. Different parts, like a TV series :-) The words of Tuomases mother sung by Floor "Oceans within", Marco moves over as the boy says "The beginning", to join Tuomas and Emppu. So many atmospheres, a mermaid, or Siren. What a good way to practice, brilliant, well done.

Of course continue you two ladies! Cinthia is a diplomat, not taking sides. Just like the Finnish prime minister in 2005. He atteded the last Nightwish concert after which Tarja had to go. He was concerned about the next female vocalist, who would be compared to Tarja. Or if Nightwish decided to go on with just a male vocalist, it could mean losing fans. He hoped that music would win in the end. One of the richest men in Finland, owner of Helsingin Sanomat, by far the biggest newspaper in Finland and the Sanoma corporation commented he understood the reasons behind the bands decision to fire Tarja. The town leader of Kitee criticized Tuomas quite hard. The whole thing was obviously very difficult for the whole town, Nightwish being the pride and joy of the town of Kitee. Tuomas, Emppu, Jukka and Tarja are all from Kitee. Population only 10 000. Marko is from Tervo, which is even smaller with 2000 people, if I remember correctly. Hello again from Helsinki Finland!

Dude, laughing doesn't just mean "oh this is hilarious". It can be a psychological reaction to "holy shit, this is amazing" or "wow, emotional overload." I laughed when a 16 year old girl made a fucking death threat to an 8-9 year old me, in front of my own mother. It's all I could think of doing.
