My FLAWLESS Foundation Routine

This is a makeup tutorial… why are people commenting saying she wears too much makeup? This is the premise for the video. She has stated she does'nt wear makeup everyday, and even if she did so what like I don't get it. It's a full coverage video for when you want your makeup to stay on the entire day and not rub off, work makeup, cocktail party makeup, makeup that's good for when photos are taken (what every single celebrity wears). If you didn't want to see someone put on makeup and a full face of foundation… how about you try looking up "no makeup- makeup tutorial". and in reality, it's not too much AT ALL. Coming from someone who's parents are both makeup artists, liquid foundation is the thinnest foundation you could even put on. She's highlighting and evening out her skin, there's not that much makeup on her face. Try going into your nearest sephora and asking for you to get your makeup done, because that's where they will pound your face with unnecessary coverage and make you cake-faced. This on the other hand is the complete opposite. All she is doing is evening and brightening her face from when it was darker with her natural color, that's normal. All the items she is using are so extremely light (I have most of them lol) And for those of you saying her foundation is too dark you are wrong: the first and most important thing about foundation is to ALWAYS and I repeat ALWAYS match to your neck, and she is. She doesn't tan her face, you're not suppose to, that's what bronzer is for.

In my opinion her foundation matches her face,because it matches her body! That's the point of choosing the right colour, for it to match your body! Even though her face is lighter then the rest of her body,it works when she applies the foundation because she has a beautiful tan! Plus she knows what's good or bad for her skin x (not trying to be harsh)

I liked this clip, the concepts and methods are useful, I do think however, that the choice of foundation colour is slightly orange/yellowish for her skin? Possibly just me , or a lighting issue but it seemed like a very jaundice look x

It's not you lol she has to use a foundation with more of a yellow tone to it because she uses fake tan rather than a foundation with a pink tone which would make her face too light

I seem to naturally have rough skin, and no matter how little foundation I put on, it ALWAYS looks dry and caked on. Are there any good foundations that would help with this problem? Exfoliate, moisturize, and stay hydrated!

Yeah, I also think that the Loréal foundation is yellowish and does not match perfectly. You'd better use a more pastellic one. And not that much amount. You're really nice and you don't need so much to conceal...actually. Well, I'm not an expert and I don't use so much make-up but I've learnt a lot from you, Lauren, and turned to you in emergency. I tried the loreal true match foundation. It look really nice and smooth the lightest color isn't light enough but it still looks really good. My favorite foundation so far is Revelon Color Stay you should try it out when you are pale.

I bought the l'oreal true match foundation because it's your holy grail foundation and also Kandee Johnson's. I have been using it for a week now and i LOVE how light it feels and i LOVE the coverage. The only thing i don't like about it is that it's a little too dewy for my preference.

I was hoping to get your advice on starting a foundation or cover up routine. I have combination fair skin which can also be sensitive and break out a bit with certain products. My face is also quite red which, besides some dryness on my cheeks, is my main concern. I would love to start a routine to cover up the redness and make my face look more uniform and flawless but don't really know what will be the best for my tone and complexion. All my yellow tone ladies in the U.S . I'm a C3, NC30 mac girl, and my color in Loreal is their new shade, (W-4.5), it is HEAVEN ! Finally found my perfect shade. 4.5 is a beautiful very yellow based foundation, no pink undertones at all like W4.
