I'm Brokefarmer and in this episode I will be taking you on a tour of all the trees in the food forest. This is the time to enjoy the beautiful blooms and blossoms of the new year. This is the payoff of all the hardwork in the winter time. Sit back and enjoy as I did. Thanks for watching and sharing this journey.

Good God's glorious morning cousin! 🙋🏽‍♀️ Everything is looking great! I agree with you on them peach flowers! 🤩🌸 When it comes to what plum you should have, I'm clueless. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Haven't tried any that didn't come from a store yet. But since we're on that topic, if I were to look for a peach tree, which one would you suggest? I need something sweet, that can stay in a container on a small patio...that won't need another tree to pollinate it.

Only fruit trees I got are a Persian Lime, Improved Meyer Lemon, and a Chicago Hardy Fig that I don't know if it's still alive but I do have a small cutting from it that's putting out leaves on my windowsill. The Lime had put out one single flower, but I took it off just like you had suggested.

Mulberries are insanely easy to propagate. I try to propagate everything. Amazing stuff sir!!! Funny stuff, I also have a few citrus I keep in pots, others are fine if you have a canopy/tree over them. Keep up the good work for Mother Earth!!!

Looking beautiful! Lol that Meyer Lemon takes no nonsense. My plum recommendation is some kind of sour plum. They’re really good for pickling and are used a lot in Japanese dishes. There should be one that can cross pollinate with the ones you have.

I don't have any trees but my dad has about 8 blueberry bushes and more pecan trees than we know what to do with. Best blueberries and pecans around. We were talking the other day and I mentioned that I would like to have some fig trees but since I rent it wasn't happening. He told me to get whatever I wanted and plant them on his land. He lives about five minutes away so we could have a good father and son project. Especially since we both love figs.

They kept getting bought bad and I did the tree paint, but this year in January, I cut it half down and now she is shooting out new growth like crazy. What a great video your and I love all the trees you have. I learned some I didn't even know about. Thanks Broke and you and your family have a blessed day and stay blessed up ☺️🙏🏾❤️

We have a 15-20ft damson plum in our backyard, and that is probably the only plum tree for about a mile or more around. It produces like mad most years! They are definitely a different kind if plum too. Until they're perfectly ripe, they're very astringent like american persimmons. But when they're ripe, our kids can't get enough of them! They stay firm and are perfect for slicing in half, removing the pit and tossing in the freezer. They go right into our smoothies for well into the winter, and we still had plenty to share with family. Highly recommend!
