I feel like im able to openly be like "oh yeah I love watching asmr" without some people really looking down on me anymore compared to if I would have mentioned it maybe back in high school. Now the reactions are like "oh its not really my thing" or "omg I love asmr too" and less of I guess judgment? like even if people don't watch it I feel like now that it's become more popularized people understand the concept as to why people enjoy it (for the most part ig). years ago I feel like if you said "asmr" no one would really know what you were talking about. but now I feel like its a universal thing almost everyone kind of has at least some form of knowledge or understanding as to what it is and why people enjoy it.

I just came across your channel today on my fyp and I am seriously impressed! I’m 23 and I’ve been watching asmr since I was probably like 15 (same thing started with slime for me lol) and I was the same way where I really never talked about it with anyone I felt like it was kind of taboo for some reason. But once I got to college and was stressed about school and life more then I had ever been I became much more open about it with just people in general, where I would tell my friends like I have a test I’m stressed I need to go watch some asmr to prep haha and once I said that my one friend told me her experience in finding comfort with it and it made me realize just how so many other people love it but I definitely have gotten the “omg i don’t like asmr” reactions before so it just all about preference. I do think the asmr community has to be the most welcoming on KZbin like the comment sections I read are the sweetest so I absolutely love it. but keep doing what your doing!! You have a natural gift for providing comfort 🤍 love the hoodie and the lighting and I also love how it just feels like we’re buddies the way your just chatting and talking it is super relaxing!! You gained another subscriber ☺️
