Don’t forget if you have a couple of transfers saved and you wildcard in 4 you still carry i those transfers over to 6 so getting arsenal back from 6 shouldn’t be a problem

Jackson is the differential in my team at the moment; Verbruggen/Flekken TAA/Robbo/Robinson/Faes/Greaves Salah/Eze/Rogers/Semenyo/Mbeumo Haaland/Pedro/Jackson Funds to do Salah and Pedro to Saka and Havertz for GW6. Porro and Wissa for a defender and Jackson in 8. Obviously, none of this will happen as all my players will get sent off and/or break their legs in GW4.

Like both drafts. Your Salah first XI is basically my GW3 WC except Havertz and Mbeumo instead of Saka and Minteh (torn between Roger’s and Mbeumo for bench next week). On the AI rating…mine was 97% but (I guess) the flags on Watkins and Palmer, the rating has gone down to 95% so the AI still prefers Salah only I think. I would caveat that with me already having booked transfers in GW6 & 7 to go triple Arsenal and Haaland, so this has an effect too. Thanks as always Ross 👏

@@FPLRaptor also for the first time I went a bit left from the get go 😅. Håland, TAA and Salah draft from GW1. Currently 278k rank. Following your assertions closely for considerations going forward. Decided I'd rather work in reverse by having them in my team and if need be can easily shift to other assets by either selling one when the time is right. Or, look at what I have in differentials and make some lateral switches.

Jackson is one of the most frustrating player to own, more so if you decide to actually watch Chelsea games. He may do well but I rather go with Havertz, less so frustrating and I think he will have a huge season even with the looming difficult fixtures.

Cred for mentioning Evanilson, havent heard anyone else do.if you want to stack on 7 price + midfield, hes a good rotation option with others budget strikers due to structure. I think Theres a chance he will become better, and he also will be well rested after international games, while Semenyo will be gone in international duty. Thats why i will probably play him over Mbuemo which i bench against City, before i will permastart Mbuemo. Later i will rotate Evanilson with DCL or Welbeck

There is truth to "covering". Its definitely a factor. Diaz covered for Salah, Madueke for Palmer and Robertson for TAA. Yes it won't always workout obviously but there is a correlation

I think your WC depends on how many banked transfers you have. If 2+ you can pick optimally and leave out Arsenal like in this draft. If you haven't got any FT transfers, then you gotta pick with WC6 in mind and cover some of the Arsenal/Brentford picks to help you save transfers going forward.

I didn't think wildcarding this early in the season was a wise decision. I didn't want to jump into the bandwagon, especially with international football games. Diaz & JP going away. I have Sels. Robinson. Gvardiol. Porro. Jota. Palmer. ESR. Eze Halaand, Havertz & Isaak. Hence, I'm holding out, hopefully until GW15.

Do you think the rhetoric to play WC in GW4 & GW6 is gonna make 90% of engaged managers play it then? Maybe bcus ive had ok start 550k. But it feels like managers sitting at 2m are jumping too early to WC. There's another 16 GWs until new year. Plenty of strong fixture swings. The GW6 WC isnt THAT good either. ARS have 3 good fixtures...but then back to bad. With European football, inevitable clusters of injuries, and congested Xmas football...i truely believe there will be a better opportunity to WC (obviously team dependent)

Stats can be good but with xgc Fulham may have been 14th last year yet they got 10 clean sheets which I swear was the 3rd best last year… defence arguably looks stronger this year on paper as well with Andersen

About João Pedro, he’s stepping in for an injured player who isn’t a regular starter for Brazil. Most likely, he’ll just come off the bench for 15 minutes or so, if at all. I don’t see him starting either. Something to keep in mind

i think as the season goes on he's gonna turn more into what firminho was for liverpool and kind of link up play more than actually scoring goals and salah and diaz will be the main goal getters

Your first wildcard draft is very similar to mine, I have martinez, pau, robertson, digne, robinson, semenyo, salah, diaz, haaland, jackson, pedro with soucek gabriel and smith rowe on the bench for now. Villa and Liverpool's fixtures too good. Would rather have TAA but Robinson cheaper for same clean sheet chance (yes les attacking), two villa defenders and goalie because next 6 or so games insanely good and expect 3-4 clean sheets, semenyo and pedro both cheap enough with enough potential goal threat, jackson is just going to get chances in that team. 6 weeks from now I would guess would feel less happy about Villa defenders but soucek and gabriel can both come in plus can transfer if necessary. So not quite the same but close. Eze I hear ya and as well as he started I just have feeling that Palace going to continue to struggle and he might too. Still have $1.1M in bank

Dont melt now and get haaland in, been talking all summer about going against him, been proven so far can go against him, and also teams with him and salah will struggle massively if both have a bad week. I see it as a challenge now going against him
