Hey AC, first of all congratulations for your 500th video. Great milestone. I found the video so interesting that I can write an essay on it. Alas! It’s a public forum. Interestingly I found there is another interest that connects us apart from fragrances, cyber sec. Anyway, thanks for book recommendations, like any book lover, I always look out for good reads. I kind of see myself in fragworld where you described somewhat about ten or fifteen years back. And feel bad that I missed those reviewers’ days. I kind of started with Jeremy, but didn’t take too long to realise something is wrong. I couldn’t believe how a fragrance from top 5 could go missing from all the future lists. Unfortunately I did get some bottles after watching such videos and am not a big fan of those. They make the cabinet look pretty and full. It was after watching your videos that I started valuing samples, until then it was like $ per ml. Not good application of mathematics I guess :) All right, I’m happy that I stumbled upon your videos. I get opportunity to learn and not just get entertained. I hope it was weekend and I could write more, unfortunately it’s work day (morning) down under. So keep it up, looking forward to more great reviews. Thank you.

What a surprise you are a motorcycle rider, that I would not have guessed at all. This year I decided to finally buy a motorcycle as well and it is now taking over all my other hobbies. I went with 2008 Yamaha XT 660 X and I love absolutely love it. Now it's too cold here in CZ to ride it so I started working on it a bit and improving / fixing things that need to be done. My wife is not that happy about it, though :D

Love that Martin, so its an off-roader. So what are best motorcycling routes in the CZ I am sure there are plenty as its a beautiful country. Some day I will come over to ride for sure. Don't worry about wives and girlfriends hating motorbikes, they are universally the same 🙄. We have the same problem here in the UK, its too cold to ride a bike. I am going to go for BMW R 1250 GS next and then I am going to get the measure of every amazing route in Europe :).

@@ACSmellsGood The XT 660 X is a supermoto specification but it's built on the same platform as 660R, which is an Enduro. Not in production for couple years, but still higly rated bike to get for a new rider. Bulletproof engine, cheap to service, enough power, just a great allrounder. Here in Czech Republic there is so many beutiful roads and it is just a question of personal preferencce to pick the right one for the type of riding you enjoy the most. Twisty roads with good guality surface is what I enjoy at the moment. BMW GS line is one of the best bikes you can get for long trips. If you will ever plan to travel through CZ, let me know and I would love to join you for some kilometers and chat about fragrances during a stop at a gas station :)

@@DedekMartin Really enjoyed this chat Martin. I definitely like twisty windy and preferably unmettled road like dried river beds or rocky terrain. I also like some of the terrain in Andalusia, Spain. I have been eyeing the prospect to riding through central and eastern Europe all the way to Turkey and rest a few weeks in a black sea resort type of thing , maybe even ride up to Georgia. At this point, its not a question of if but a question of when. That BMW has been in my sights for a while, so when I get it, I will be as free as a bird. I will definitely come to CZ, because it is a beautiful country and I know very little about it. Your Yamaha seems very interesting starter bike. Thanks for sharing that info.

Congratulations on all of your KZbin success, AC! I have to admit, I was saddened when you went on hiatus a while back but I'm glad you're back. Congrats for the 500th episode! You've mentioned very truly the number one misleading factor that plagues people's minds and opinions, "influencers". True reviewers that take their time, honesty and passion to offer sincere and knowledgeable opinions about fragrances are most unfortunately a minority. Thank you for belonging to the minority!

The early days of Frag Com were great indeed. It was so new and exciting discovering all of these new fragrances and people with such passion. I started in 2009 just trying to find a new fragrance for a job interview and I fell down the rabbit hole. There was a shill long before Jeremy though. I trusted his opinion but he must have been getting kickbacks and I ended up buying some real garbage fragrances that he had endorsed. I won't mention his name but he is still creating content. In the end it was my own stupid fault for believing him
