Same here in 2000s I didn't want my parents to come to my Elementary School because I didn't want them to embarrass me in front of my classmates or friends I didn't want to lose my coolness so I can understand Nadine even though she just a cartoon character

I remember seeing this one as a kid, I didn't think I'd watch this again. Also I didn't understood this then so all this time time I thought the family was trying to stop her from going to school. The family are so damn insane and Max is such a kiss ass, I feel so bad for Nadine. When she was running to catch the bus I was briefly imagining the chase music from Planes, Trains & Automobiles in my head. One last thing, it's interesting that this pilot is called Welcome To My World when years later Cartoon Network made another pilot called Welcome To My Life, in fact I think Nadine and T-Kesh should hang out, they might have some things in common.

I know this comment is almost 10 years old, but it had a budget because the creator of this pilot is John McIntyre (sp?), who already worked at Cartoon Network. He worked on Dexters Lab and other cartoons.

I think it’s so animators can get recognition for their talents. Not everyone wants to get greenlit for a series, but just to show the world what they can do and be proud they got something on tv where those who grew up with this from long ago can look back and feel nostalgic. I know I remember seeing this when I was a kid and I did like it❤

Ouch. I can see why this never became a hit. The character designs are horrendous and all the dialogue is incredibly explanatory. The main character just has no appeal whatsoever, and that is BIG in a cartoon.
