I found someone with the same hobby as me lol. I do the same thing it's very fun. I bet everything that's obtained "free" and it's in your collection is still for sale for the right price. You're just in no rush selling it as after all it was sort of free. After you sell it you looking forward finding it again on a good deal haha

Crystal xbox boxed 1 pad and one phat black og pad and splinter cell Ps2 phat boxed, Ps2 slim Ps3 slim 160gb 2 pads. Gamecube black one pad 2 x wiiu but only one power supply but both work and with pads NES sadly missing game tray lid, 1 pad and light gun and mario/duck hunt Mega drive 2, 2 pads 2x wii one white one black Ps1 just missing grey cover to serial port at back Bag of games and peripherals (mainly 3rd party madkatz etc xbox controllers and 1 3rd party gamecube one) which tallied up to about £80 - 90 on CEX Loads of other games that ain't worth anything but if you take then it's free to add to a bundle. Unboxed mario kart wii and mario kart 8 wiiu whic has a reprinted cover, and smash bros wiiu unboxed. Sonic 1, Aladdin and taz escape from mars on mega drive CIB I also have a reloop rp4000mk2 turntable which is like new hardly used but the motor stopped working and then it wouldn't turn on for some reason, maybe something you could flip as a S&R on ebay, I just don't have the patience with it, I do also have a working one, the reason I'm getting rid of all this is to go towards a set of technics turntables. Think that's about it, might come across more in my room as I don't tend to keep things together.

I thought about doing this years ago. It was the tax situation that put me off. This margin selling scheme and being taxed on profit and already being vat registered put me off. Cex is a good idea as that will be in tax free

Hi Tom, thanks for the content, been really enjoying it so far. I wonder if those clean N64 boxes are reproductions, can get them quite cheap online and make the perfect pairing with a good quality cartridge.

He actually makes perfect sense. To me at least. I have the same Hobby lol. It's fun in some way. You learn a lot about games and why some are rarer than others. It can literally be something as simple as a sticker included within a game and if it's not there the game is pretty much worthless. Or for example Jackie chan stuntmaster on the ps1. It used to be dirt cheap, but the story behind the game is that Jackie actually did all the stuns and animations in it. I mean was part of it. The game is alright but what makes it valuable is the story behind the game. Not the lore, just that Jackie actually did the animation and voice acting. I bought 12 of them back in like 2009 for £15 (all of them) today they are worth over £100 each. I get satisfaction doing this. He makes perfect sense to me

Great video, Tom! Awesome collection. Didn't expect you'd have some much more original Xbox than PS2. Are you looking to pick up an OG Xbox console too? And what were your favourite games when you used to play?
@TOMS_TAT
@TOMS_TAT Жыл бұрын
Yea I do want a boxed OG xbox but haven't managed to get a boxed one. I always preferred the xbox to the ps2 tbh. My favorite games are GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Hitman, need for speed underground 1 & 2, The Warriors, Crash bandicoot. Just to name a few.

Hi Tom, i have a couple of questions for you: I have a few PS games for sale but don’t have the console for them, should I list them for market price or not because they might not work? Also, for scratched disks, how should I list them to get a good price for them? Thanks!
@TOMS_TAT
@TOMS_TAT Жыл бұрын
depends what games they are? if they are high value games list them separately and mention in the listing about the scratched discs and sell as untested. people still buy them as some people have disc repair machines. if they are lower value games bundle them together. might be better off selling on facebook market place instead of ebay too.

I'm on the fence on this one... Collecting is fun, but finding good deals also kind of means "scamming" the seller.. I feel a little bit bad for the person selling way below market price, so i just can't enjoy doing that, for the purpose of quick flipping... Me, i'm just using my salary to buy buy buy and hoard :P
@TOMS_TAT
@TOMS_TAT Жыл бұрын
Dont be ridiculous. If I ask how much then the seller says X amount and then I pay X amount that's not a "scam". It's a consensual transaction. It's up to the seller what they sell their stuff for. Weather its way over market price or way below.

He’s right, you’re taking advantage of others. “Scummy” describes it well. The fact you don’t care says volumes about you. You’re like a vulture praying on the vulnerable. Shame on you

I used to feel bad too. But at the end of the day you're responsible knowing what you're selling and what it's worth. It's always risky getting something from an individual rather than business. It could end up not working or having some weird glitch which you didn't notice as you won't be setting testing one item for long. It's a skill what he does to be fair
@TOMS_TAT
@TOMS_TAT Жыл бұрын
@@ovskiyo130 Yea you always need to pay as little as possible for electronics as there's a good chance it will be faulty or not working. My job is to get it as cheap as possible. Its the sellers responsibility to know what he's selling. When I got the switch home it wouldn't charge. So I think the seller thought it was broken. Luckily I easily fixed it by cleaning the ports.
