Nya die due to the Tiger Widow venom which thankfully was reversed by Jay’s last wish. She also died in Prime Empire just like Cole and even merges with the sea. Kai and Lloyd also die in Prime Empire just like Nya and Cole.

I think the most baffling part of Ninjago lore is that, when taken all together, it actually makes sense. Aside from the Mega Weapon debacle, most of the lore was added on modularly. For example, Tournament of Elements introduced all the Elemental Masters, but then Possessed introduced Wind and Water. Later, Seabound explained this as Wind and Water originating from someone other than the First Spinjitzu Mater, which also makes sense since Ninjago was originally nothing but ocean before the island of Ninjago was created.

"Forbidden Spinjitzu" isn't even an actual thing, like a subsect of the martial art, it just refers to two items labeled "The Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu" that give said powers when held. Ironically, there is an actual subsect of Spinjitzu that is dark and has been forbidden, it's called Airjitzu. The Ninja used it several times Season 5 and later, but then they eventually just _stopped_ using it altogether, and that's apparently because it is apparently powered by some dark magic that further destabilize the universe the more its used.

I’m going to attempt to explain the Megaweapon debacle. The Megaweapon is what granted the power to go back in time and change events. By destroying the weapon and jettisoning the gold into space, the power that facilitated the timeline changes was lost, causing all the changes caused by the Megaweapon’s power to be reversed. Everything and everyone was placed back in its proper time period, with the gold of the golden weapons now in space in the present.

Everything makes perfect sense and works out completely (I think they even find the melted golden weapons in space later) except that Lloyd doesn't remember Garmadon having a megaweapon, for some reason, despite retaining the age-up property that was a by-prodout of the weapon's mayhem. Therefore, Occum's Razor demands that the timeline went back to normal, and Lloyd just got plain old amnesia but nobody cared.

this is why i only consider s1-7 canon, anything after that i don’t care about. i’m pretty sure between s7 and 8 they got a new studio and the writers of this new one are just really bad in my opinion. i feel like they keep making stuff up and being like “oh btw this happened but we didn’t tell you earlier just because 😊”. i know wu kinda did that every season anyway but at least when he did it it still fit with the timeline and made sense as a plot point. i just feel like relying on timetravel for every season is bad and lazy writing, and honestly they have so many plot holes that it’s just stupid at this point.
