Makes me wish I kept my 27 ford 454 automatic, 28" rears , 9" fronts ....Pass almost everything but a gas station......one scary ride, but a whole lotta fun....amazed at how fast people could snap their heads around to watch it go by.......

Was just reviewing some stuff and name of your channel triggered a memory...Thought you might be interested...My first car was a 69 AMX in 1979...however, after that, it's a sad story...I was a youngster...and inexperienced...put it somewhere it shouldn't have been...there was a collision...really liked that car...

Glad it had a large fuel tank up front. Hopefully it’s a fuel cell. Good to have some weight up there. It looks more for show. The trunk lid just sits there. What am I saying. I would drive it.

I wanted a t-bucket but ended up with a '27 Roadster with A fenders and a '32 grill. It's got about the same size tires under the rear fenders. When I got it, One friend said it was cartoonish. I'm fixing that with a Weiand blower.

Back In the mid 70s...there was a graphic publication (comic book),called "CAR TOONS", centered around Hot Rod Car Culture...The cars dipicted always had exagerated features that were WAY over the top. They wer raked too far to be feasable...the engine stuck out of the hood hindering vision.. rear tires way too big...fronts way too skiny...shifters sticking out through the sunroof...four foot flames coming out of the exhaust. This car reminds me of those things...and as far as wanting one...more power too you. Mike grew up drooling over these styled cars, and now he has the time and resources to "play" with one. This is unquestionably a fair weather show car. It has WAY more power than it needs.It's cramped...doesn't stop OR handle well...is terrifying above 60 miles an hour and it's just a matter of time before something else goes on the fritz. Mike is leasurely working the bugs out and enjoys taking it to shows. He's actually won a trophy recently.

The problem is the front end floats and once you get it crossed up it's hard to get it un-crossed. There are two points of no return with those cars.
