LiSA who is singing the song with them is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Kpop has a huge market in Japan, so many groups create songs or even full albums to cater to that market. It's similar to how they use English in their lyrics to cater to the international market. You'll also find there are many kpop idols who are actually Japanese, American, Australian, Chinese, and even Thai. So it's common for kpop idols speak two or more languages. Chan for example speaks English, Korean, Japanese and I think some Chinese too.

I've loved watching you discover kpop and it was so fun watching you guys interact! I think the reason we use "bias" instead of "favorite" is because you "favorite" everyone but there is one member that you are more "biased" towards (like notice more or mention more, etc.) so it's kinda a way to include that everyone in the group is a favorite. Also they make songs in Japanese because Japan is very close geographically to Korea (you can get to Japan from Korea by ferry from Busan) and it's a larger music market because they can sell music to both populations that way.

As a Survival Stay, I love when new people get excited over these talent young men. Also, as someone who was there during the Woojin exit, it was a sad day for us stays, in fact we don’t really know how mentioning his name started to became taboo and we find it a tad ridiculous tbh. He is a talented singer who just needed to step away from the spotlight due to personal reasons. Stray Kids was no longer his path in life and he knew that and stepped away. No one knows the full reason so all the “bully” talk is just Negative Stays finding an excuse to hate on someone. Also, I see your friend’s eye tends to lean toward s the Dance Racha line, you should introduce her to the different subunits of Stray Kids, possibly show her “Taste” and hope she survives that video lol I also recommend “Mirror”, “Voices”, “”19”, “Beware”, “Cover Me’, “Just Breathe - Sky-Hi”, “Zone”

I also was around since the start and I really agree. Woojin was actually my bias before he left, so I stayed a little up to date on what he's doing. From my perspective I think Stray Kids just wasn't exactly the kind of music he wanted to make. At least the songs he's putting out now are very different. I believe that it was a real hard time for Stray Kids, but that there was never any talk about what happened or whom to blame, I think it's best to say that everyone moved on now without any hard feelings remaining.

Also, as a side note, I have to mention this as an Aussie, cuz New Zealand is our 'Sister' country, the dance in Miroh was based on the New Zealand Traditional Haka performed by Maori warriors. So when New Zealand sport teams go to a match, you will see them perform the Haka prior to playing whatever sport they're going to play. I was just talking to someone about this because there's a group that rewatches the lives chan used to do every Sunday (called Sundays with Chan [fyi]) and we just watched ep 43 (the first channie's room as ot8; btw, also part of why the term OT8 is big in stayville, because woojin was the main vocalist and there was controversy over if the group could survive in the industry without him, so OT8 is a call of support that we believe in them as a group to not only survive but lead the industry and they have never proven us wrong 💗 ) The announcement that he was separating from the group was October 28 2019. There's still no clearly stated reason why he left. Most people who make an issue of it are long-time stays who grew attached to woojin as part of stray kids and felt hurt by it. I can understand, but I'll always be the forst to advocate finding your own path because you're the only one who will live your life

He left in 2019, a couple of weeks before the planned release of Levanter. That's why the album wasn't released until December, JYP scrapped the lot and had the members re-record the entire album. The OT8 version of the songs from earlier albums are on SKZ2020 and SKZ2021. And regardless of what some people are saying, we know exactly why he left the group. The announcement that he was leaving to pursue a solo career, and immediately signing with a new company as a solo artist was a bit of a give away as to why he left. Also he said when he joined SKZ he wanted to debut to prove he could because he'd just been kicked out of another group at another company. So when he left a year after debut, and tried to use the SKZ album to promote his solo career, it proved he's just used used BangChan. Ryan, Hugh, and Chan have been friends for years. Quick summary: fanboying, presents, Chan's Ryan's favourite Aussie, Hugh says Ryan's a lot, 10 way bromance. Social Path is in Japanese because Lisa is Japanese. And it's not just about Chan, I don't know why people are saying that.

He didn’t make a video to apologize to them it was more to get closure after the drama that happened (that had nothing to do with skz) bc he got signed to SM so it was kind of to start remarketing him and let’s be honest he only “apologize” bc he was having a combeback and mentioning them will get him exposure bc there is absolutely no reason to bring this up after 5+ years. He literally posted the day after a trailer or wtv for his comback😭😭(the fact that it was posted on April fools is ironic too)

I was into kpop when Stray Kids had their survival show and debuted and I lost time and interest in it somewhat around back door I think. Like I kept up with the title tracks but no other content, just no time for it. So somehow Miroh feels to me like it was just maybe one or two years ago but it's already been so long ^^" I was honestly also surprised just how famous and big them kids have become.

31:30 It maybe somewhat weird but its to reach their japanese fans since not all of the speak english or understand korean, so it's not them. Same with their international fans that majority only speak one language: english. Of course many now are very multilingual Lol I'm thinking "Ugh, where do you find the brain space to store so many languages 😭?"

@@hunterashley-musicreact True since majority of local western artists only speak English but if you search up latin- or asian-american musician artists they sing/rap in both English along with their native language (For ex; Ricky Martin, PITBULL, Enrique Iglesias, Shakria, EAJ aka JAE from DAY6(k-band), ANITTA, ERIC NAM, Jay Park, KESHI, Yoon Mi-Rae, Steve Aoki, Rina Sawayama, QUEST CREW & PORETICS dancing groups that used have all asian members, Rich Brian, etc). 👍

i think they make japanese ver. songs (especially skz) because Japan loves them a lot, like I’m convinced their fan base in Japan is larger than their fan base in Korea 😭 For their 5-star tour, they sold out 2.5 million seats in the Kyocera Dome, Osaka, Japan in 5 MINUTES!!! I think that’s sufficient evidence to know Japan loves them :))

I have to say, no body needs to be mad/angry when people talk about Woojin or if his name shows up since he didnt do anything. If someone gets mad at you because you say his name or watch videos with him included, then congratulations you found toxic STAYs, not the normal ones. I am multi stan and I could recommend some other groups as well. If you are interested to watch more kpop boygroups WEi and P1harmony or CIX could be some of many i follow you also could check out, if youre interested of course.
